I mean pritchett is our best O-lineman for NIL $ and he has 114 followers.

Not only do our players not have the followers but their instagrams are boring.

why’s this matter ? Think Arch is the highest paid NIL player cause of UT boosters and his play on the field? Think again, his social media has a ton of followers. Social media plays a big part in NIL; this is where Nebraska’s sucks. Sucks bad

Think Arch is doing the instagram stuff. Hell no. UT has people doing that. I’d rather pay a team Phill Snows salary to do social media for our players then have Snow doing any coaching. It would have a better impact to the program.

and I get it. You ain’t getting a 57 year old farmer to follow a 19 year old on social media. Make the contact good and they might, if they are posting funny stuff. Not fat dudes sitting on cows giving a 2 finger sign

And when you combine that with the fact that the administration at UNL has long ago decided that a great football program is not a priority anymore, then you get the reality of how screwed we are. Mr. Spitty McSpitty is going to be our coach for at least two more years. So that is 2 more years of crap football. And at that point our “tradition” and “brand” will be a laughable joke, if they aren’t already.

What we desperately need are administrators who are on fire with a vision for excellence and a plan to implement it. That will require money and lots of it. But do we have the balls to go and get it? Do we have the people in place who will appeal to those with money who will look at what is going on and say, “Heck yeah, I want to be a part of that!”
No we don’t.

I mean, I always thought it was weird for grown people to be following the social platforms of high school and college kids or even know how many followers they have. Unless it’s their job to.

indiana's president and ad were planning years before they hired cignetti. now is the time to create a plan and figure out how we can target and be ready to hire a real winner in two years. this isn't that hard. in some ways the long leash on mr can turn into a blessing. waiting until the last minute and sorting thru coaching club also rans will never bring Nebraska back. there are some winners out there to target and groom into our next hire.
