I know some Packers fans who were big fans of his Dad.
If I remember Dad was about 6'4" or 5" and about 265. Played up and down the line at Iowa.
Entered the Packer's hall of fame in 2024.

And I bet his Dad was not as good at QB as his son was.
If I remember correctly, there have been a number of HS QB's that have player Safety for Iowa. In HS they're one of the more athletic people in the team and they're used to "seeing the field".
His Dad was a very good player for Iowa -IIRC, he played for us during the dark rebuilding days when we transitioned from Fry to Ferentz. There was concern that he would not stay committed to Iowa given the programs decline at that time.
