The season is not over should Seton Hall fall at Villanova, but there won't be many more chances for important Quad 1 wins. Also, finishing third in Conference play may no longer be possible. Finishing 3rd would mean that SHU took care of business in the last nine games. Also, as things stand it would probably keep them away from UConn's bracket at MSG, should The Hall get by their Quarter Final game. Seton Hall may have a better chance to beat SJU at MSG than UConn, a virtual road playoff game. However, that's way down the road and not the immediate concern.
Villanova is a solid team, but not a great team. If The Hall can limit some of the Nova outside shooting, and shut down the inside game, a win is possible. Having Hines should make it a more interesting matchup this time. The Hall has a much better bench, but Askew is an outstanding shooter and can just kill you from the perimeter. Villanova starters though are a league above SHU's starting 5 for the most part from a production perspective. The bottom line is the Seton Hall players have to rise to the occasion. If they come out like they did at SJU it could bode well this time with a better result. I believe Sha will have them ready.
