Alabamas a real program . Top tier in both sports . That’s how real programs get things done. Saban left they’ve still been in the playoffs. NCAA can’t do anything. Won’t do anything. Trend setters. Not gloryhole cucks.

Where's Bama's basketball natty? Got BTA'd against a mid ut team after cheating a pro back into the college game? They've been to one final four and we're calling that top tier? Prior to Bear Bryant coaching Bama football, UK had three more championships than Bama has had final four appearances in the entire existence of its MBB program.

Also, Bama football is a joke compared to several years ago. Arguably shouldn't have been in this year's playoff, but likely got in because of recency and SEC bias. Nobody will compare to Saban for a while, but still. The Tide hasn't been a premier football program since Nick left.

But yeah, real program. Just weird to glaze them at all or come to their defense. Pearl is right. They need to be punished and made an example of.

Whether you agree with it or not, the court order literally prohibits the NCAA from sanctioning the program for playing Bediako. The idea that the NCAA can just refuse to invite anyone they don’t like to the tournament as some kind of backdoor trump card for enforcing eligibility rules that don’t hold up in court is fantasy thinking.

I can see NCAA not allowing them in the tournament. It’s the only way for them to set the precedence.
The NCAA has no legal authority to deny anyone from playing. That’s why they have been looking to Congress to allow them to enforce rules.

The members schools just voluntarily accepted their rules. Then the lawsuits started and opened the flood gates.

I can see them not being able to keep them out if they win the SEC tournament but at large teams get the shaft every year. At large bids are completely at their discretion.

The NCAA is looking to Congress to give them an anti trust exemption so they can enforce rules. Right now the players have the upper hand.
I don’t think Congress is any hurry to fix this especially since it is an election year.

However if they get the exemption there are a number of things the NCAA could implement. One biggie would allow a player to transfer once and that’s it. That would help with all the portal moves every year.

If Bediako playing makes people this mad then I can’t wait to see the meltdown when Amani Bailey gets ruled eligible by some judge.

When it happens I hope we go after him if he doesn’t go back to UCLA. Former top 5 recruit and a PG. We will need that next year.

it's wild to see that the ONLY thing that haggard-looking guy values is winning. He clearly knew that every coach, everywhere would hate him for doing this and he just didn't care.

I don’t like Oats for sure but Alabama had no choice. There was a federal judge’s order prohibiting the school or the NCAA from taking any action against the player.

And BTW. The judge was an Alabama booster.

I saw all that. Oats didn’t know the judge was a donor? In assume you were being sarcastic.

Did the Judge issue a ruling that he had to play meaningful minutes in the games? Of course not. Oats made that decision and it's why he's despised now.
