Iowa -9.5
O/U 132.5

The Hawkeyes (15-5, 5-4) head west to take on the Ducks (8-13, 1-9).

Simply put, this is a really bad Oregon team. They’ve now lost 7 games in a row, which included a 35 point loss at Nebby. At home they are slightly more competitive where they held MSU, Michigan, OSU and UCLA under their scoring averages.

An Iowa loss would be devastating tonight, for that reason I see a 76-65 ugly victory.

Bittle and Shelstad are still out, right?

That would be like if hawks lost stirtz and banks..yikes.
Altman is a proven quality coach and Oregon has all the Nil money so you know they have some talent but with their two best players out .must win.

Oregon redesigned its gawd-awful court recently, so now it's just awful. See it for yourself here: https://duckswire.usatoday.com/stor...t-arena-basketball-court-big-ten/74188965007/

OMG. All that Nike money and THAT'S how they spend it? It's still one of the top 10 worst basketball court designs in all of college basketball history. What a mess . . .

And just for the record, here's how it looked before this brilliant new redesign: https://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-baske...n-basketball-court-photo-matthew-knight-arena

I liked their old court. I thought it was cool. The BSU football field on the other hand ought to be against the law.

Here's what their old arena use to look like:

After the "O" rebrand

Older version, probably mid to late 90s

I like both of them, but I'm weird like that.

with Iowa in any sport there is no such thing as a given win ever
At the same time, nothing is guaranteed in this conference. When a down team like Wisky can go to Crisler and win, you know it's tough.

Of the same vintage as the Iowa Field House. In fact they opened within a month of each other. The Oregon facility opened in Dec 1926, and its first game was on Jan 14, 1927. The Field House was completed and officially dedicated Jan 13, 1927 (though a game had already occurred in the not-quite-completed FH in December).

Crazy, huh???

Come on already. First Sunday with no football has made it a long day of waiting for iowa basketball.
