Basketball GAMEDAY THREAD: Rutgers Basketball @ USC

[tm_nj]

so nobody fouled us on that entire possession in the paint?

[DHajekRC1984]

Lino Mark made a three

Time to give him powers #3 Jersey.

[RUDivision]

Winning the 2nd half

[bethlehemfan]

But Pike doesn’t even make returnees better any more

No that’s nonsense.

[tm_nj]

Powers got lucky with that shot but I’ll take it

[koleszar]

Winning the 2nd half

I had to look and saw it then thought, "oh man we're going to have to hear this sh*t again from Pike".

[BillyC80]

Went from down 19 to down only 8. Need to continue scoring at the line.

[RUnotentertained]

Winning the 2nd half

[BillyC80]

Damn, needed the rebound. Grant not boxing out

[Shelby65]

Pike needs a catchy phrase like Keep Choppin to motivate the team because all of us fans see it’s worked wonders for the football team all these years.

[BillyC80]

That was not a foul on Dortch

[Simce91]

Does it seem like SC is getting more favorable whistles than RU?

[bethlehemfan]

That was not a foul on Dortch

The officiating is terrible but ****** teams don’t get calls.

[koleszar]

And that'll do it.

[DHajekRC1984]

Pike needs a catchy phrase like Keep Choppin to motivate the team because all of us fans see it’s worked wonders for the football team all these years.

"Keep Floppin"?

[Simce91]

Dylan Grant is not a 4

[BIGRUBIGDBIGredmachine]

Patented 0 fer 5, 6, 7 trip scoring drought after making game interesting

[BigEastPhil]

Pike needs a catchy phrase like Keep Choppin to motivate the team because all of us fans see it’s worked wonders for the football team all these years.

“Keep Pressing !”

[RUDiddy777]

Went from down 19 to down only 8. Need to continue scoring at the line.

And turning the ball over. This is dreadful.

[seansherm]

Dylan Grant is not a 4

Not sure he's quick enough to be a pure wing, but yeah, ideally he is not a 4. SC playing four guys his size or bigger and all faster

[fatsam98]

Patented 0 fer 5, 6, 7 trip scoring drought after making game interesting

We'll hit a 3 here and then he'll call timeout

[DHajekRC1984]

The officiating is terrible but ****** teams don’t get calls.

Steve pikiell in 300 games at Rutgers has gotten 1...ONE T. Tom Izzo got 1 the other night down 10 with under a minute to go. Should have been tossed. Some coaches demand respect and defend thier teams..others bend over and clap.

He's a softie and thats how his teams play.

[BillyC80]

We'll hit a 3 here and then he'll call timeout

You called it!

[tm_nj]

Pike with another timely momentum killer timeout. I don’t get it

[BillyC80]

Holy moly.

[RUgal]

Pike with another timely momentum killer timeout. I don’t get it

It bothers me when he does that at home because it quiets the crowd but I don’t think it made much of a difference there.

[fatsam98]

Did they play Toto there or something? Wtf is USC doing lol

[koleszar]

Should that not have been an, and 1? He got face planted by the defender.

[BillyC80]

Let’s get a steal and steal this game.

[RUDiddy777]

Seems like Grant deserved an and 1 there?

[PiscatawayMike]

[bac2therac]

Lol usc imploding

[RUnotentertained]

[BIGRUBIGDBIGredmachine]

how about a freakin and 1 for Grant, the SC guy barreled into him

[tm_nj]

how was Grant not fouled on that drive after a clear blocking foul is seen?

[bac2therac]

14 points for Rutgers in less than 3 minutes

[dark_check]

Just start Francis from now on

[bac2therac]

So close and yes so far away

Final 78-75

[koleszar]

WTF was Francis doing lolly gagging up the court? With less than 6 secs left you have to sprint.

[Tango Two]

Terrible last possession
