Richie Saunders 6'5" 200, is a monster today with 33 and 9, averaging 19 a game as a SR. As a Soph, he averaged 9.6/4/1.

As a Soph, Collin Chandler, 6'5" 202 is averaging 8.8/3/2.

For those that weren't around pre Cal, this is what often happens when players hang around for 4 years. Retaining a lot of these freshman and sophomores that a lot of the RR crowd says "suck" will pay off huge dividends down the road. As I have said, you don't buy a Championship caliber team in a year, you earn it over time

They choose their agent dip sh it
Agent works for them. To help them get the best situation possible. Whatever situation they want the agent will help get. Tyran stokes agent is the one that will make it possible to go to Kansas.
Whoa..hang on yall we got ourselves a real internet tough guy here. “Dipshit?” Your whole post, especially your last sentence only proves my original point. 😂🤣😂🤣😂😂 Clown.

Tough ? Na. My last sentence proves nothing. I said recruits have 100% power. You said their agent does. Their agent does what they ask them to. Not a tough guy. Fanbase has lost it officially.

Edit. Dip sh it is the least aggressive cuss word I can think of. A corny word. If that’s offensive then yea I am a tough guy most definitely. Would most definitely need to keep our conversations on the internet.

Who negotiates the best deal, player or agent? What is more likely today, a player goes somewhere he likes for a smaller check or a different school he may like less but where his agent gets him a bigger check? If you think it’s the player then it’s not the fan base that’s lost it.

I didn’t mean to call you anything personally. Wasn’t really directed at you. That’s my bad. Was in the moment while thinking about Stokes committing to Kansas. Didn’t mean to fire shots at you. I’ll admit when I’m wrong.

But to answers your question. I think the agent will get the best deal possible for where that player wants to go. Stokes wants to go to Kansas he will get the best deal he can from Kansas. The destination is the players choice 100%. The agent works for the player.

I think those days are long gone. Stokes doesn’t care whose jersey he wears or what school he reps but he like others at his level will chase the dollars first, then fit.

Every school is paying top dollar for the number one recruit. Do you really think a kid doesn’t pick a place he wants to be at? Do you think the agent is telling Stokes where he’s going?

I’ve heard we offered Stokes more than anybody. Especially Kansas. Money is there no matter what. The young kids want to have fun their one year in college. They will go where it feels like home. What feels comfortable.

Sadly this is just the reality of today’s professional college sports. Give the agent five or six teams you like and let them work for the highest dollar. Hate it all. It’s why he’s playing at his high school now. He’s money first. Can’t really blame kids for any of this but here we are. Greed has won the day. Thanks.

I have said it numerous times players and agents that are elite status will not sign with the wildcats as long as the jmi contract restrictions and limitations exist.

JMI or no JMi pope will get 3-4 players that come off the bench. He will over pay out of necessity.

Can’t we make this simple and just offer him the most money ? Or maybe Pope needs to be more like Cal and make promises he can’t keep. OR MAYBE HE COULD KEEP EM FOR A KID THAT SHOULD PLAY 35 MINS A GAME AND BE A STAR 1AD ? MAYBE THEN WED HAVE WILSON NOW. OR KINNEY AND STOKES COMMITTED ALREADY
