I'm just correcting Valentin Kalika's name. I have no idea what the issue is that njsportsphan mentioned. Not sure what that means as I'm not familiar with his reputation or issues. Can you share? Thanks.

Idk rocky looked like a shell of himself last time he competed and he’s a what 6th or 7th yr guy? Not a lot of success for the old guys recently, You’d be better off with Stewart, Ferrari, or CarrollWonder if his brother, Rocky, follows him to NJ and uses the last of his eligibility here. If he's healthy that would be massive pickup as he's a 4x AA who finished 5th, 4th, 3rd, and 6th at 197 which obviously a huge position of need for us.
That's fair, which is why I mentioned if healthy so that's certainly the wildcard. I believe he would be in his 6th year next year.Idk rocky looked like a shell of himself last time he competed and he’s a what 6th or 7th yr guy? Agree, think Ferrari will be too expensive. Carroll has not looked like the top recruit he was in High School, he was 5-5 this year and his best win was 10-9 over Voelker from UNI(who was blood rounder). Got crushed by Cardenas and Buchanan. That's fair, which is why I mentioned if healthy so that's certainly the wildcard. I believe he would be in his 6th year next year.
I doubt we have the money to land Ferrari, and Stewart and Carroll both have some huge question marks as well. Hell I think the next school Carroll commits to will be his 5th commitment/school (Illinois, UPenn, Oklahoma State, and then Iowa state) so I'm not sure anyone is putting much stock in him sticking around anywhere.
I sure hope so. We need to beef up that room at all weights to help lure high level recruits.Between Labs (4/5x AA) and Elam (2x AA) the upper weights have some great training partners, which should help tremendously with development and recruiting.

Starting a new thread on that to keep this one clean. This is more driven by the wife
He would be, yes, but what would it do for him?Mekhi is a great get for Princeton. Wish we could have got him. Would be a really good training partner for our guys.
Oh my god you’re insufferable. What do you think Princeton can do for him that’s so much better than usHe would be, yes, but what would it do for him?
RTC talent. They have a more serious RTC.Oh my god you’re insufferable. What do you think Princeton can do for him that’s so much better than us
No they don’t, it’s probably on par with ours. We also have Labriola in the room who’s more accomplished than any guy in their RTC and is at a similar weight to Lewis. Obviously there are reasons why he chose to go there and I don’t know what they are but let’s not pretend like the Princeton RTC is some illustrious place that ours isn’t.RTC talent. It’s 4 within 1-1.5 hour drive …. Princeton, Lehigh valley,NY and upennDO the RTC's practice with each other?
Having 3 RTC's near RU has to be a draw....4 if you add Penn State
Goodale and team are the SKWC coaches. Humphrey is still at NJRTC.Who is the coach of our RTC? Is Reece Humphrey still the RTC coach at Princeton?
Are you f**k**g kidding me?! NJRTC has Dubuque, Brewer, Ashnault, and Humphrey! What is that, like 5 combined NCAA individual champions plus multiple national team members?! You can't be f**k**g serious! No they don’t, it’s probably on par with ours. We also have Labriola in the room who’s more accomplished than any guy in their RTC and is at a similar weight to Lewis. And Princeton still sucks *** at wrestling. Theyve only beaten Rutgers ONCE in a dual since the 90s.Goodale and team are the SKWC coaches. Humphrey is still at NJRTC.

Dude, we're not talking about the college wrestling programs. We're talking about the SKWC versus the NJRTC. Reading comprehension turns out to be an actual thing. And Princeton still sucks *** at wrestling. Theyve only beaten Rutgers ONCE in a dual since the 90s.
