Doing large stadium tour. Playing BOTH Camp Randall and Ohio Stadium. No shows in the area (Columbus closest). Anyone thinking of going? I've already got my tickets to see Rush at MSG (my favorite band ever so was a "no brainer") BUT I've never seen AC/DC!!!

I would love to see them, but watching some recent conct on YouTube, it sounds like Bryan's voice is shot. I had tickets 30 plus years ago and could not go.

I'm hoping to score Rush tixkets on secondary mrket

Rush puts on a great show. Saw them a couple of times. Best show was at MSG early 2000’s.

Saw Rush on the Clockwork Angels tour (I think) at PNC. Great show. We won a meet and greet with Geddy and Alex, and they were very nice. Thought my friend was going to pull a We're not worthy bit like Wayne and Garth, but he made it.

Tedeschi Trucks Band are doing a residency at the Beacon Theater NYC in March.
Black Crowes/Whiskey Myers at Pru Center in June.
Goose at the PNC in July
John Mellencamp at PNC in July.

Saw Steve Hackett (Genesis) in October at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank.
The band has been together for many years and sound just like Genesis. Even played Supper's Ready.
The band is still writing new songs and Tal Bachman played with the band.

Randy Bachman still has it and plays both Bachman Turner Overdrive and The Guess Who hits on tour.

One of the very few bands I have not seen, so YES , I will be there.

Not terribly concerned about the quality, just looking for an enjoyable night out.

From videos, the ACDC crowd seems VERY into it.

I saw that. I haven’t seen him in concert before and want to. Hopefully he’ll make to the end of July.
Cougar was one of my favorite shows and I love his music...but the last time I saw him (The Mann in Philly...several years ago) he was quite disappointing and couldn't hit the notes then. Hopefully he's rebounded and you get a great show.

Nobody has mention GnR at the Meadowlands? Would love to but I won't pay $300 for tix to these shows.

Seen a few times..Keswick years ago and just this past Oct. at the Scottish Rite. I can't stand his solo stuff but I'd go again just to see the 2nd act of Genesis material. BTW, I saw something yesterday on my Facebook feed that he is planning to tour with a new band line-up. I would assume he isn't changing that keyboard player and lead singer. Or the Brass . He usually just changes the drummer and bass.

If you're a Pre- "And then there were three" fan like me you need to go see The Musical Box. They replicate the shows with the lead dressing and talking like Peter. IIRC they even purchased the light show from the Lamb Tour.

Rush was always a great live band. Always gave the fans their money's worth. I'm sure the reunion tour will be no different.

Unlike many bands (e.g., Jane's Addiction, Fleetwood Mac, Journey), never detected any animosity between the band members. Even when Neil Peart was alive, they genuinely seemed to enjoy making music and touring together. While Neil was the loner and would go off on his own, Geddy and Alex were always happy to do interviews and interact with the fans. Seems they really thought this out about touring again with a new drummer. Just hope that people realize Neil Peart's shoes are nearly impossible to fill, and fans should be glad that Rush is touring again and accept the shows as a huge gift to fans (and yeah, a huge windfall for the band).

Gosh. I saw Randy Bachman perform in Kansas City with The Guess Who more than 50 years ago.

Neil, Alex, and Geddy were genuinely friends. That had a lot to do with their longevity. Neil's shoes are impossible to fill, but Annika Nilles played with Jeff Beck. She's no slouch.

That's a nice line up.
So far I'm looking at:
Phish at the Sphere in April
Joe Russo's Almost Dead in April
Dave Mathews Band in May
POSSIBLY Goose in April
Black Crowes in August

Really wanted to go to Rush but couldn't justify the cost without Neil.

April 9- for metal heads/ stoner rock fans---Clutch and Corrosion of Conformity are at Starland Ballroom. COC is touring with Galactic's drummer, Stanton Moore. Stanton is a fantastic drummer, who did the drums on COC's In the Arms of God, and on their upcoming double album. Not everyone's cup of tea, but solid musicians.

I really like Triumph. I always felt bad for them that they were the OTHER Canadian power trio. 😅
Triumph was underrated. Never quite got out of Rush's rather large shadow. The same could be said of Max Webster, another underrated band that never quite go their due. Their lone collaboration with Rush, Battlescar, is epic.

Their performance at the US Festival in 1983 was magical.

I think we all would’ve loved that! Gotta wonder, however, if not for Brian Johnson would AC/DC ever have hit the height that it did post Bon?
Brian is great. Artie Lange doing Brian screaming Fiyahhhh was awesome.
Brian's book Rockers and Rollers is a fun, short read.
But Bon Scott had that it factor, like Jim Morrison. On stage charisma was off the charts.
Brian is different. Just hope he can hold it together for the tour.

I think these guys mostly play here in Texas, but if you ever get a change to see them, they are one of the better tribute bands I've ever seen. They do separate Brian and Bon segments. IMO his Brian is good but his Bon is perfect.

I read that the singer actually tried out for AC/DC back when they hired Axl. Was supposed to play like 2 songs and ended up playing a bunch with them.
