USC gave Purdue a game last night.
That looks like the toughest one at this point.

You trying to jinx us?The 5 losses so far:
AP Rank
at...#2..... ......Iowa State.............(66-62)

It has something to do with O & D metrics and what games you lost that metrics said you shouldn’t have vs games you won that metrics said you shouldn’t have. How do they measure this? What metrics illuminate this factor?
In baseball,it is pretty solidly isolated( hard hit balls that do not find grass) ect.

Tonight’s game epitomizes that comment. Just get the W and move on no matter what it looked like
Do-able.

Need to go at very least 3-1 minimum. I’d say win all 4 but 3 of 4 on road and traveling out west makes me nervous, probably cause of how are football team always performs on west coast trips. And not like we blew out last 2 teams at home.Especially against 3 of the worst teams in the league.
Our next 4 opponents are in RED below.

I guess they are officially a football school…for now. With all of that Nike money, how is Oregon so bad?
Crazy to think when you first started this thread, 7-0 seemed like a bit of a pipe dream.Rankings, per Kenpom:
#23 IOWA
at..............#90 Oregon..... .................... ......(Sun, Feb 1)
at..............#48 Washington...........(Wed, Feb 4)
vs..............#62 Northwestern... ..(Sun, Feb 8)
at...........#122 Maryland.... ......... .......(Wed, Feb 11)
It’s been that way all year. Tonight was as bad a basketball as I’ve seen to start and end the game, with 20 mins of gorgeous basketball in between. It’s maddening!Crazy to think when you first started this thread, 7-0 seemed like a bit of a pipe dream.
Now? If they don't finish this stretch 7-0, it'll be a bit of a let down.
@ Indiana and vs USC were gonna be the two biggest tests. Won both (+ the Rutgers game sandwiched in between).
Can't sleep on the @ WASH game, but its the last game in this stretch that should be a potential 'land mine'.
But all 4 games could be very interesting if the offense takes half the game - or more - off like it did the last two games.
Not sure Oregon was suppose to be great but reading up on them injury bug has hit them hard. Top 2 scorers are out hurt. Leading one biddle 7 ft balding guy out with an ankle and from what I read don’t think will be back by Sunday and 2nd leading hurt his hand end of December out for the year. With all of that Nike money, how is Oregon so bad?
Survive Wednesday night and 7-0 should be attained.
Not saying I called anything - if it happens - but I did strongly hint at its possibility.
Whoever it is, its after this 7-game stretch that started with @ Indiana, so its outside of the parameters already set.I won't mention who we play in game # 25.![]()
I don't want go get all @Moral on everybody, but while I really don't like that 10p CST tip on Wednesday night, I lucked out and am off on Thursday.

Time to call in sick for that game…. 11pm is really late and I want to tie one on during the game damnit!
