From what I understand, he's a pocket passer that has the athleticism to escape the pocket and run if necessary.
He certainly has the ability to scramble, similar body type to Gronowski with a little less weight. Iowa offered his teammate a 4* athlete Bode Sparrow (projected to play WR).
Sparrow is the #1 athlete in Utah with an impressive offer list
Having his QB sure can't hurt.

I'm not saying this was you.....but it's funny that no one wanted to pay attention to the offer list of the portal guys we got, folks just wanted to $h!t on them and say that they sucked cuz they were FCS and had no stars coming out of HS......and now when we get a top ranked recruit, folks say "Don't look at the stars, look at the offer list."

Ideally you want a competent passing game and a somewhat balanced attack, but i dont fall in love with stats. there are a lot of bad teams that lose a lot of games but put up pretty good passing yards.

Close to #1, but USC signed Jonas Williams. I think it has much more to do with other schools paying transfer QBs.
