Thank God we did all our winning in the 1900s. If the world hasn’t dissolved by the 2100s, we should still be in the top 25 for wins.

Yet no one on this board posts more about Iowa than you. It’s better if you just admit your obsession with Iowa as I have with Nebraska. It’s so freeing.
BTW, no Iowa fan has ever been offended by stats like these. None will argue that Nebraska has a richer history.
Deep down, these posts and threads are for your emotions and dignity. It’s a coping mechanism instead of facing the reality of Husker football the past decade. They make you feel better more than they hurt any Iowa fan.

I’m a Nebraska fan but not from there. I don’t get the obsession with Iowa. Nor do I care if someone is a better fan than me. Nebraska has been embarrassing as a football team for quite a while now and our coach is a joke. But things change, ebb and flow, and Nebraska will get a hire right one of these times. I happen to think it will be our next one. Get back to the basics. Quit trying to be something you’re not
I never understood how Nubs can be so proud of all the wins in the big eight. Except for Oklahoma, most of those others teams barely had a pulse most seasons. Are you proud of the losing bowl record you have? Too bad steroids, rapists, and other felons are not tolerated in today's game.
Big 10 was no different from the late 1960’s to the mid 1990’s it was either Ohio St or Michigan or both every once in a while a sprinkle of Michigan St or Illinois
‘When did the Big 10 finish the AP poll ranked #1,#2,#3 in the country at years end? or in 1995 4 teams in the Big 8 finished in the top 10.

They act like those teams were all so good and they beat up on each other. No, they were all so bad and they played against each other.
Just like ISU vs KU was a lame game...so was NW vs PU or Illinois vs Indiana.
Hell, what probably helped the Big Ten the most, back in the day, was that ND is close to a lot of the school so they scheduled them and those schools got on TV more often.

Clarkeyes shared the title in 1981 with Ohio St. They went to the Rose bowl because they went by the last time a team last made it to Pasadena when shared.
The Herky’s last outright title was 1985

Minnesota last Rose bowl appearance was 1960
before this season Indiana was 1967
