That was 5 against 8. Total hose job. Plus the Michigan fans boo the few calls that NU got. Down two players NU really wore down at the end. Hope you guys beat them in the B1G Tournament.

Purdue will beat a mediocre Indiana team and leapfrog NU in the AP poll.
We will never get a fair shake in this league against the legacy BIG teams. Ever.
Yeah to me this was a playing-with-house-money game. Would have loved to have pulled it out. But shake it off and get heathy, and NU is right in the conference title race.
Down two key players and our guys go into their place and just lose by three. That says a lot. What was the FT margin, like 19-3? Now take this loss, get pissed and start a new streak. This team is legit.

Time to regroup. Fatigue played a big role in the last 7 minutes of the game. I'm ok with the win streak ending, but it sucks how it all went down.

We are down our most important player in Mast and another top 5 guy in Frager, and roll into their house and take them all 40.

Proud of the Huskers. They put up a good fight. I think fatigue caught up with them in the second half. Michigan has a lot more length.
This and it gets that “undefeated pressure” off their back. They’re pissed about this L but I guarantee they are also pumped knowing they’re missing 2 of their key dudes and had this game in the bag. Everything is still on the table for this team at 20-1 as it would have been 21-0. It confirmed Nebraska is an elite squad this year.
Is it just me or is Michigan hugely overrated? Thats a game we win easily at full strength.
On a side note, I was pretty impressed with Leo Curtis. Going to need some minutes from bench guys, and he hung in there.

They very much are in terms of basketball skills. I was trying to pinpoint what exactly they do well and it's just "be big and athletic" which goes a long way in basketball, but realistically we held them to 60 points. Their offensive "skill" is to drive as hard as possible and ram their body into your body at the basket.
Gotta be able to get to the line and extend the game when your shots are not falling. N is live or die by the 3 and back door cuts. This was by no way a bad loss but it should have been win even without Mast.
Ha the couple of sneaky early baby hooks were nice.
First one completely put me off guard. Thought it was an attempted weak pass that went in the hoop. Then he did it again.
I think Fred has our guys playing so well we can compete with anyone.

I don’t think they’re a good shooting team at all. Just big and athletic. Their best shooter was probably that five year senior white kid.
The failsafe for the stripes was, with NU down 2 key guys, get Michigan into the 2nd half bonus early. Works on two levels - get wolf to the line often as needed, and foul our guys out if it came to it. They only needed the former tonight.
I'm going to give you a pass because this basketball thing is new to you guys but that was the worst basketball game Michigan has played this season. BY FAR. WAY worse than Wisconsin. And they still won. By the way, its hard ******** work and alot of pressure being a blue blood in everything. Nice game...hopefully Nebraska wins a tournament game
Nebraska was down 2 starters and bricked their last 11 three-point attempts because they were winded due to being short-handed. And despite NU only scoring 22 2nd half points and shooting likely a low % beyond the arc in a half, ONLY lost by 3 on the road vs 8. NU wins by double digits at full strength.
