Good effort. Fun game. If you’re a Rutgers fan you knew in the back of your mind this was coming. It never ever felt comfortable. So it goes

Dammit - Francis needed to drive to score the winner instead of that stupid floater. It was right there.

It was only a matter of time before the athletes and players on MSU showed up to pull away. RU fought valiantly just to get here. Hoping they win but I’ve seen this screenplay before.

Never mind the no calls on MSU or JaMichael missing two FT's. We were up 3 with 17 seconds and once again Pikiell's TERRIBLE coaching decision to not cover the inbound pass and make MSU work to get it up the court and then fouling, and making them shoot FT's instead of an open three is why I want Pikiell gone. He has done the same stupid **** in so many endgames throughout his tenure with RU it's a pathetic theme.

One more made foul shot.
Designed final play to get fouled or make it
Foul them with 10 seconds up 3
And more options to win in regulation

MSU was getting mostly dunks and layups while we were making high degree of difficulty shots. It was only a matter of time. With that said, the missed push in the back was killer.

This is a very, very fair critique, spot on.

Not blaming Pike really..its unfortunate but better MSU players made a lot of clutch plays down the end while Rutgers players were on fumes
The 3 with the shot clock expiring up 8 after the under 4 timeout was the uh oh moment for me

point to other individual plays and blame certain guys most everyone played the best they possibly could

it’s a talent gap … on our best day we can make a good team sweat like Iowa or Michigan state but if it’s close at the end better athletes will be better athletes because we aren’t good enough talent wise, coaching wise or execution wise with this roster and staff

Its unfortunate because we deserved it but credit Sparty for making huge plays. Cant fault us. We got bitchslapped by CSU by 15 earlier this year

California trip will be brutal
