???? And maybe she's ready to get on with her life. I'm sure she's graduating. She's not a pro player. And frankly given its almost Feb she probably not going to be able to play at all next season either. Lets just wish her the best going forward.......With the way college athletics works- maybe TM can get another year of eligibility. I see that a QB is getting his 7th year next year and the Miami FB player is coming back for his 8th year. Give it a go Taylor- sue the NCAA and petition for another year!!!! Love to see you back.
Sounds like she’s graduating this spring with an engineering degree. She’ll make more money getting her career started than coming back for another season where she probably couldn’t even play much until halfway through it. Sucks to have this happen to her, but she has a bright future ahead of her off the court. With the way college athletics works- maybe TM can get another year of eligibility. Exact same thing happened to Molly Davis against the same team last year, and I think she was in her 5th season....Did she ever miss any previous games due to injury? Just really strange to play 4 years and with 2 months left have a bad injury...????
She has the rest of her life to work. If she loves basketball than she absolutely should try and get another year I would love for her to be a sniper off the bench next year. Of course that's only if she wants to which I don't know many college athletes who wouldn't want to get another year rather than working. work sucksSounds like she’s graduating this spring with an engineering degree. If she wants to but I suspect she will be moving on to become a talented well paid structural engineerWith the way college athletics works- maybe TM can get another year of eligibility. Rooted in a fantasy world. There is no way TMcC will be able to reclaim her senior season. If she wants to but I suspect she will be moving on to become a talented well paid structural engineer
Thanks for being a Hawkeye, Taylor!
Does she have another year left? Maybe a medical redshirt
No chance. She played 2/3 of the season. Just don't see any possible scenario unless she has attorney who knows a judge who just happens to donate six figures to the Iowa athletic department. Oh wait haha.Does she have another year left? Maybe a medical redshirt
Yep that sucks, she's been a damn good loyal Hawk. Hell of a ride for the young lady.
Those two are certainly no Jacy Sheldon.Maybe not a big deal, but it should be acknowledged that OSU players did stop play to give her attention. That's a level of sportsmanship that you may not see from other teams.
I noticed that. It was Ava Watson and Kennedy Cambridge.Maybe not a big deal, but it should be acknowledged that OSU players did stop play to give her attention. That's a level of sportsmanship that you may not see from other teams.
In the second half, one of the Cambridges helped Journey up after knocking her down (foul was called) in the lane. Much more likable tOSU team, but easier to like when you win.Maybe not a big deal, but it should be acknowledged that OSU players did stop play to give her attention. That's a level of sportsmanship that you may not see from other teams.
