Watson was decentIowa would have won by +30 but Jaloni Cambridge is a hell of a player. She single handily kept Ohio State remotely in the game. Nobody else on OSU's team impressed me.

Yeah. Iowa got more easy baskets against that press than we've seen all year.Once they got past OSU’s first level, which they did a lot, there wasn’t much OSU help under the basket
Bucks missing a top rebounder w a shoulder injuryThat Ohio State team only lost by 7 to UCLA, so I'm willing to see how the Hawkeyes do.
Ok, then explain. What good is it to yell and scream at your players when they miss a layup or commit a foul? Jensen chooses to be positive. You want her to yell and scream at them? Did you play? Even going back to middle school I knew what was a dumb foul or dumb pass. I didn’t need anyone telling me that.Didn't say they're intentionally screwing up.
You missed the entire point of my response. The whole thing.
She sure went right to Deal after the injury, not Strem. I thought that was interesting considering Stremlow had been starting in CC's absense. Jan may not want to put that pressure on the freshman combined with her first game back at Cali. Thats why I find the timing interesting. Will be interesting. She’s McCabe’s sub. So does she slot in or go with Stremlow and continue to let Addie come off the bench? I’m hoping she gets the start to let her get a feel for the game right away. I like Stremlow energy off the bench. Just me though!

Jan probably didn't trust Deal as a primary ball handler back then with Chit chat out so she went with Stremlow instead. Today Deal is a more confident player and there were also still 2 primary ball handlers on the court in CCW and KF.She sure went right to Deal after the injury, not Strem. I thought that was interesting considering Stremlow had been starting in CC's absense. Jan may not want to put that pressure on the freshman combined with her first game back at Cali. Except those same fans are also fans of men's basketball and football.Too bad that doesn't apply for men's basketball and a lot of the football idiots
Then for what reason are those same fans not in the stands for men's games and habitually disparaging the football program?Except those same fans are also fans of men's basketball and football.
Now get back in your grave. Football is off for another 7 months.
Is it ok if I also post here?
Then maybe they should stop making mistakes.Do people really not see Jan argue with the refs? She does it often.
what's crazy is the second one where Ava pivoted to a step through was a terrific move. A few possessions later the OSU big does a horrible step through, where she hopped on her pivot foot and traveled and that one was not called.Side note...Ava's two traveling calls early were bullcrap. I thought they were and after watching again NEITHER were traveling
Nothing in your post is even remotely close to what I have posted in the past.
So, I'll clarify EXACTLY what I've been saying.
Firstly... I've said I question why HS is smiling/giggling after a bad play, foul, turnover, missed layup, etc. Maybe some of that is just from hanging out with JadaG, who anchored the last seat on the bench for four years.
Secondly...I have criticized JJ for not "working the refs" as she stands by the bench during games.
That's it. Nothing more, nothing less.
And I happily acknowledge that I doubt any fan had Iowa with only two losses at this stage.
You think most coaches wouldn't be bothered by someone being taken out of a game for screwing up and giggling/laughing as they take a seat on the bench? You think looking sad is going to help someone play better?

lol 21 point win over #12 in the country and we're back to being mad about Hannah smiling.
She's having a decent season down at 17-4 Ole miss. Averaging 19 points and 6 rebounds. Glad she's out of the big ten.She needs to develop a mean streak.

Sure, but think about where they'd be with a better coach that was chewing some azz? They'd easily be top 10 and in first place in the conference right now. Prove me wrong!lol 21 point win over #12 in the country and we're back to being mad about Hannah smiling.
I think since Jan has been around her a lot longer than you have and sees her everyday and knows her personality I'll take my chances with her over Fran or McCollum. And who cares how Fran would have reacted? Women also in case you didn't know are different than men. If you've noticed you see a lot less *** chewings on the women's side of things than on the men's. And honestly I'm not sure it does a lot of good these days on either side. Hannah has been playing great. Now I'm sure when we probably lose to UCLA and she doesn't score 25 the lynch mob will be back saying she hasn't improved in her 4 years and get her out in the last 2 minutes! You think most coaches wouldn't be bothered by someone being taken out of a game for screwing up and giggling/laughing as they take a seat on the bench?
How would Fran or McCollum react?
No, but it would make some of these fans feel better, and isn't that important too?You think looking sad is going to help someone play better?
That's a good question. Who cares? You think most coaches wouldn't be bothered by someone being taken out of a game for screwing up and giggling/laughing as they take a seat on the bench?
How would Fran or McCollum react?
She's a terrible foul shooter. That's a fair statement. Is anyone debating that?Hannah can do no wrong,.. leave her be.
I was so glad when she transferred she didn't even consider Iowa. I wouldn't want someone like her on my team no matter how good she is. Iowa womens basketball is about player growth and valuing each player. McMahon would be a cancer on our team. She needs to develop a mean streak.

Plus she appears to have 2 fingers that are stuck in a weird position, so there's that.I was so glad when she transferred she didn't even consider Iowa. You can certainly see that in interviews. Thats why she was so comfortable being the 3rd or 4th option on those Cc22 teams. Last year was a struggle for her, and a few games early this year. Whatever Hannah and Jan talk about when they have "coffee", (something Jan does with all the key players), its working, because she's been playing her behind off the last few weeks.....I'll will just add one more comment and that is I think Hannah is a bit uncomfortable when attention is on her and her way is to smile/laugh.
Some people mistake Hannah's personal demeanor or inability to shoot free throws as a sign that she is lazy or doesn't work hard. She's simply not a firey person. Nobody knows how hard she's worked to achieve her goals of becoming a better player. The fact that she's not a great shooter doesn't necessarily reflect anything other than that's not a skill she possesses today. Assumptions about what's behind that are unfair, because they have no knowledge of that. On the flipside her rebounding, defense, and assists, all effort related plays are at career highs. You can certainly see that in interviews. Thats why she was so comfortable being the 3rd or 4th option on those Cc22 teams. Last year was a struggle for her, and a few games early this year. I have always felt she just needed to raise her intensity and play tougher. She has down that recently and it has been very obvious. She needs to develop a mean streak.
So yeah, that's true, but that player only had 4 rebounds and 2 points in that contest. She wasn't much of a factor really.Bucks missing a top rebounder w a shoulder injury
