This! I have had such high hopes for Hannah and it just seemed like she would never reach her potential, but lately she is playing on a different level and it is great to see her this way. Add some n Addie Deal finally playing with confidence, Chit Chat and her solid game, Ava and her fire, future all-American, and Kylie and her fantastic defense, Stremlow with her hustle and grit, we have an exceptional team. I absolutely love Iowa women’s basketball and I couldn’t say that until 4 years ago.
This game pumped me up. The sophomores have been really impressive: Stremlow is a relentless bulldog. Heiden is quite simply a star. Cbit Chat has been an absolute revelation. Then freshman Deal is turning out to be everything we could have reasonably hoped she could be and Hays shows signs of being quite good indeed.

I love Strem, but she's not really a star. BUT she's the kind of glue player that winning teams have. Love to have them, hate to play against them.
Agree w this. Stremlow had a good game today. She just needs to be comfortable w that role. Doesn’t need to be a star. Be tough on defense and take advantage of opportunities you are given on offense.

Well some of us have been asking for more time for Addie and though absolutely nobody wanted it this way I think she’s ready to shine.
This game was one of her best. Seniors need to start “doing their thing” as we get closer to tournaments etc.
They’ve been doing their thing all season, that’s why the team is 18-2, 9-0.
Exactly. Stuelke is tracking again as an all Big Ten player. Kylie is Kylie. Great defender and just an energy player. McCabe was a solid player and greatly improved as a Sr. She’s out so next girl in that looks to be time for Addie Deal to make a name for herself.
She is shooting her layups so much better rather rush her shot and throw up slop. The underneath of backboard is getting no action. Rebounding is incredible. Regressed on FTs.
Journey Houston? You cannot leave her out of the discussion.
She has been OUTSTANDING in the last month or so. Definitely picking up her game all over the floor, but her % near the basket lately has to be way up. Great job.
