And their record doesn't reflect how good they are and how close they've been to some impressive victories this month only to come up a few points short.

Hawks need to be ready for a fight.
And to be fair we’ve been on quite a run. But I still think we win. We’re a better team. Period.

Oh no doubt plus it’s a road game.

I’m sure they’re not too pleased after last year’s loss either

Every game in the BIG is tough, particularly on the road, but Iowa just dismantled #12 Ohio State who had lost just two games before today. Both to Top Five teams. I feel good about the USC game. They are a relatively small team that does not shoot the ball well.

Possible. I forgot about TCU losing.

I mean, I think TCU for sure but that's 3 straight wins in the top 15 that were not particularly close minus an epic collapse that still was as comfortable as it could be in ot.

Also, Michigan lost on Monday at #7 to Vandy. I dont think we sneak past both but I could see one.

Holy crap... waaay OT but this is Michigan's end of the season. Wow...

@ 13 MSU
vs 24 Neb
vs 3 UCLA
@ NW
vs 13 MSU
@ 10 Iowa
@ 12 OSU
vs 15 Maryland

UCLA's schedule is a lot easier. The only teams that could come close to beating them is MSU and Michigan. And Iowa of course. We control our own destiny win out west and the title is there for the taking.

Hope we can keep it going and get a 2 seed for the BIG tournament but a lot of basketball to play.

UCLA is the measuring stick in my opinion. UCLA is one of the few teams in the conference similar to us, in that they possess quality bigs and back court.
Can Iowa, more so Hannah handle/shoot well against tall opponents. She struggles offensively against opponents her size or taller, unless she is scoring in transition. Can the guards slow down UCLA's back court and take care of the ball?
If we can do that, sky's the limit (except uconn and south carolina).

This is the game where Hannah really needs to use a pump fake.

I hope the team is not like many on this forum. Way too much talk about UCLA and not enough concern about the business at hand—a solid USC team maybe looking for some revenge from last year’s upset. Focusing on one step at a time is the best way to avoid a fall.

Hannah cannot because she doesn't pump fake to get the taller players like Betts up in the air for a foul or an easy bucket.

I don't call USC a solid team this year.

Jazzy Davidson looked good in OOC, but has cooled off since Big Ten play has started.

Kara Dunn on the other hand (Georgia Tech transfer) has had over 20 points in her last 6 games and went 26/10 against Michigan the other day.

Oh it won't be an easy game. They just played Michigan to a 6 point game at Ann Arbor. We will need to play well to win.

They have played a number of good teams close. Deal probably starting so now we need someone taking her place coming off the bench early taking her place if you follow me. Everyone needs to step up on this road swing. Roster not being as deep hopefully is not a problem but loosing a senior starter is tough not just from off/def but from leadership.

Current NET ranking of 23; 8-3 playing at home (losses to UConn, S Carolina, and Oregon.) Not sure what your definition of "solid" is? IMO any Quad 1 win is against a solid team.
Lost to MSU, Oregon, Maryland and Minnesota. Three of those teams we beat pretty handily. The only two on the remaining schedule that I worry about is UCLA and Michigan but Michigan is at home so not so much as UCLA.

11-9 and ranked #23 ahead of 20-2 Texas Tech and 18-3 Baylor and Alabama

just goes to show you how tough the Big Ten is

And Ava. Betts is 6'7" but probably closer to 6'9" with her long arm reach. She'll reject anything put up in front of her. I'd have Ava play the high post where she can make that shot and drag Betts out of the paint and let Hannah set up on the block in their hi/low sets.
