He had every right to have a gun, and I don't even think he did anything wrong. He didn't deserve to get shot, and I think ICE was in the wrong yet again. But he would still probably be alive today if he never carried a gun.

I 100% agree with that, yes. There should be no protesters there and there should be no morons walking around with their guns like they are Rambo. Sadly, both are "rights"
There is nothing wrong with peaceful protests or gun carriers. There is a problem when a mayor decides not to deploy it's police officers to restore order and is simply looking to frame ICE as some corrupt law enforcement agency.

Agreed. Maybe if the Minneapolis police were allowed to do their jobs over the last week or so, this wouldn't have happened. Has nothing to do with your perception that people shouldn't be allowed to carry firearms.

If someone didn't lose a life, it would almost be comical how badly you MAGA-types can twist facts. I saw every angle and the guy was getting the **** beat out of him and had his hands towards the top of his head (trying to protect himself) the whole time until he got shot. Didn't even have time to reach for his gun, and there was no evident intent that he was, and he was disarmed before he got shot.
By all accounts, it sounds like he was a good dude and was an EMT I believe. Was he dumb for even being there? Yes. And for helping a woman who had earlier been causing trouble? Also yes. But also shouldn't have lost his life over it by poorly trained agents who were way too quick on the trigger.
Again, I say it never should have come to that. But, you Communist-types seem to support the Minneapolis mayor for pulling all police presence during these "protests". If that Communist mayor wasn't trying to score political points, none of this would have happened.

The odds are very slim that we would ever need to use a weapon against another human in Nebraska but there are multiple cases in NE Nebraska in the last decade where innocent lives could have been saved IF some one other than the perps had been carrying. Google it. 2 situations in Knox County alone. I knew one of the victims.
Agreed. A good amount of the "protestors" are not Minnesota residents and many are activist mixed in with ANTIFA trash.
Protesting and obstruction are polar opposites.
It's peculiar ICE is running hundreds of operations thoughout the United States yet Minneapolis is the only locale experiencing this type of organized insurrection against law enforcement.
It’s spreading to other cities now. Nut jobs though from many hours drive away are traveling to Minneapolis to participate.

When I was a fireman we worked 24 hour shifts followed by 48 hours off. It amounted to 56 hour weeks. You worked a third of your life. The 48 hours did lend to having a part time job during those 48 hours. But it comes at an expense. You miss 1/3 of everything going on. Your kids events, holidays, golf league, softball games, church. While most everyone in the world got off work at 5:00 you still had to be there another 16 hours and contrary to what everyone believes it’s not sleeping. Most of your call come in after the sun goes down. Weekends? You got 1 weekend out of 3 off and even the one off didn’t start till Saturday morning at 7:00. Assuming you felt like doing something after being up all night Friday night responding to stupid people accidents.
He didn't resist as far as I could tell. He got the **** beat out of him and any movement that I saw was a direct reaction of that as well as the physics of sliding around on the ice while 6 or 7 grown men are wailing on you. You MAGA types really love your Gestapo.
If a friend or loved came to me and said i'm going to go agitate a large group of law enforcement agents and bring my gun and some extra mags... i'd call them an idiot and tell them it's a good way to get themselves shot..

What you think is pinching to beat the **** out of him was a desperate attempt to disarm a man willing to shoot them. He shot they had no other choice but to shoot.
He created a situation where it was his life or maybe multiple others I stead. He did so while being detained by armed federal agents. What on God's earth did you think would be the outcome?
