It's so hard to be a wrestling fan at times. It's like we get treated like second class citizens when it comes to following our sport.
Did the commentator just say Luke might be going for a submission??
No Byers for me. Watching BTN+ when it doesn’t freeze
It’s not freestyle, Mr. student announcer
My wife said same thing…a fist to the back moment in ‘26
You may've missed Lilledahl considering working for a submission per the student announcers
Anti-submission points. 2-count
Has Cline tapped out, yet? It's just a matter of time.
Byers still not working. This is terrible Ugh
Great work from Luke, especially considering that they are definitely working through these duals and wrestling on back to back days. I love that he went for the bow and arrow again, but, time ran out.
125: Luke Lilledahl vs. Abram Cline (I'll use AC)
Per 1
lots of ear-to-ear early on. Luke in on a double to a single, AC with a whizzer, Luke shelves the leg then gets behind for the TD, 3-0. Luke switching from hold to hold, but not really close to turning AC. OOB with 1:26 left. Luke flattens him for a bit, and just like that, the BTN+ feed starts to buffer. (Too many of us watching it. LOL). Without Byers on, and action frozen, I'm kind of blind as to what is happening. Finally, the buffer is over. Luke cuts him with 1:01 left, 3-1. Luke in on a low single, AC turns away from it, and can skip out. Stall call on AC. OOB with 0:16 left. Lots of wrist fighting. End. RT @ 1:04 for Luke
Per 2
AC takes bottom. Luke quickly dropped over him, and throws in a boot. Boot out, and Luke working an arm bar. He nearly turns him but stoppage for PD with 1:19 left. Option start, and AC is out, 3-2. Luke sort of went for a cradle but couldn't get it which enabled AC to get away. A semi-shot by AC, nothing. Luke with an ankle pick and gets the TD as they go OOB with 0:36 left, 7-2. Luke with an optional start, and basically uses AC away, 7-3. Luke with an ankle pick to a double fro the TD, 10-3. Luke working the bow but the buzzer sounds before he can turn him. RT @ 2:12 for Luke
Per 3
Luke takes bottom. He's up, and out in @ 10 sec, 11-3. AC with a shot, and Luke with a counter for the TD, 14-3. They are on the edge, and the ref stops it with 1:04 left. Luke starts them on their feet (gives the esc), so it's 14-4. Stall call on AC is a point, 15-4. AC working the edge again, and they are OOB with 0:38 left. RT is locked for Luke. Luke in on a low single, he's trying to pull AC in off the edge, and he gets the TD, 18-4. OOB with 0:14 left. Luke rides him out. With the RT,it's an 19-4 TF, @ 7:00

They are just saying words
I see @SlipperyPete is in the cockpit, so I'll leave the PBP to him.
Tom and Pete competing for best pBP?
He keeps imitating the noise that Dr. Hannibal Lecter makes after saying "I hate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti.....

He must have finally had someone bring him the liver, fava beans and chianti
The announcing is sounding promising. We may yet hear another illegal fist to the back.
Great work from Blaze. Brown is no slouch. Marcus is just so technically sound.
These Maryland announcers are... I think over eager is a good description.
