For the record I didn't want the wife beater but you guys tearing down coaches like Oats or beard to lift up Pope is a weird and dumb flex.

We're doing this to ourselves. You can't play D with your chest when your arms are down and you're reaching. All they have to do is raise their hands in a shooting motion into your arms and it's a foul.
When you jump in front of a dribbler and he runs into your chest, no foul is called, but when you have your arms down, they run into your arms. It's a foul and Barney Rubble scouted this, probably took him all of 10 seconds. This is awful coaching on Pope's part.
Moreno is a 7 footer that should be a 10 footer in the paint, but instead, he plays small, because he doesn't do the one thing they teach you in middle school.
The fact that all of our players are doing the same thing, tells me it's being coached this way.

I’m just saying what I see. Yeah we are holding our own in the SEC for now but we have to play better than this. Hopefully it’s the early tip and foul trouble making us look this rough.

on the whole today, they have been exceptionally bad hanging on to the ball.

and the refs, for whatever reason, are going hard on UK with contact fouls

but I like not seeing them down double digits

The last two or three fouls on us were an absolute joke. Period. MoD was actually shoved in the back and it was miraculously on us.
That on BG where the Ole Miss dude plowed into him is ridiculous. Refs calling hand checking every time is not good basketball when both teams are playing hard nose defense.

Fans came to see players. Not refs

We're 30 points or more better than Ole Miss. TP can barely get off their bench. Pope will calm the kids. Like someone else said, we need to get our arms up on D.

Unfortunately this is about how the Cats are going to have to win every game from here on out. Thank goodness Mo D's injury wasn't worse earlier in the season. Rock fights here on out.

Mississippi has won 3 of their last 4. Wins vs Missouri, Georgia and Miss St. isn't that bad.

Well we’ve stunk up first halfs all season. This was not as bad as some. Let’s see if the pattern holds and they romp in the second half.
