My guess is this next game will have little impact on the NET. Sunday's game will be an opportunity to put some decent distance between us and 200.

yeah unless its a 40 point plus loss we should tread water maybe even move up a couple spots. Northwestern is at 79 currently so a shot at a better win that even Oregon was.

I was just looking at the other P4 conferences. At this snapshot in time:

- Every SEC team is in the top 100
- Big 12 has 1 team outside of the top 100
- ACC has four teams outside of the top 100
- Big 10 has four teams outside of the top 100

Maryland, RU, and BC are the only P4 teams outside of the top 150.

Rutgers up to 166 just one spot behind 165 Maryland
@bac2therac could you envision a scenario where we lose the next 7 games and remain above 190? It seems to me that barring a total collapse to close out the year, we'll now easily avoid finishing in the 200s.

if we lose 7 in a row there will be some fallback but the sos is going to probably move into the top 30 or so we should stay ahead of 200 as long as its not 20-25 point losses every night. The last stretch of games though against Maryland who is near us and PSU need to win some of those

Rutgers now up to 164. Georgia Tech at 163. Marquette within range at 148. Shaka's team has completely fallen off the map Traditionally they spend top tier on their hoops program but not so much in the NIL portal so its a gigantic failure this season at 6-12 and note they lost to Maryland

Looks like by this time tomorrow, we'll be back in last place among P4 unless we can somehow only lose by single digits tonight. I'm not optimistic as Iowa appears to be legit this year.

Iowa is good but not sure how good. Their NET rank is actually better than their resume which is lacking quality wins. They have played top schools very close. Winning by 17 at Indiana though was a very good sign for the Hawkeyes. They are not the same no defense Iowa school we are used to

RU and BC now the only P4 teams not in the top 150. Maybe I'm setting myself up for disappointment, but now I'm expecting to win Friday night. That should get us sub 150 which would be great considering it wasn't too long ago I was worried about falling into the 200s.
