Yup looks like a solid get. Iowa's defensive system doesn't really allow DT's to get great stats so it was a longshot to get a top of the line guy. Seems to have a good base and some eligibility to work with thoughDolph when he sees his name for the first time:

6’ 2” 300 pound dude that runs a 4.87 forty with a 31” vertical. That’s scary good.

Hawkeyes land DT transfer Emmanuel Olagbaju
North Dakota transfer Emmanuel Olagbaju, a 6-foot-2, 300-pound defensive tackle, has had a change of heart and is now headed to Iowa.
Barnes is really focusing on the DLine. Clearly Kirk and Co. saw this as a unit that needs to be improved. That's great news.
Got that number so he can flip to offense and run the tackle eligible pass play. KF is always thinkin' one step ahead . . .

He definitely looks quick in those videos and I am sure strong and those are natural attributes. If he needs some polishing and skill improvement he will get it at Iowa. Hope he has a great career

He at the level He was playing pushed the pocket and held the point of attack and in a lot of cases took up double teams, The exact thing Iowa asks of its DTs , He needs to become more varied with his hands and pass rush tool box but this Guy is exactly what Iowa needs for next Years DL , Depth, size and the ability to not be moved off the line of scrimmage and to collapse the OL in pass protection into the QBs lap

Desperately needed, I love his film and he’s big enough now to contribute/start. I’m now greatly satisfied with this portal season. Assuming they punter will be found.

Looks more like a LB than a DT. No fat on his frame at all and still 300 lb! Impressive.
