Bankplus has a checking account which should be paying 4.25%. Not any restrictions on it that I know of.

Fidelity has CDs for 3, 6, 9, 12, 18, 24, etc that are all at 5.25% or higher.

I get that a CD isnt a savings account, but a 3mo CD at 5.25% is pretty short term.
Fidelity's Money Market account, which is where cash is just held until you allocate it to an investment, is currently at 4.73%. That is available to transfer out to your checking account whenever.

Yeah, I actually just saw the rates earlier this morning since I was going to move money out of the MM holding account.
Funny enough, the MM holding account is currently higher than a couple of CDs I opened back in April.
