OT: Verizon cell service out

In DC for a meeting, service went out on 301 in Delaware, no biggie since it turns into 50 which leads into the city, but slightly problematic once I got here trying to find my way
Fortunately, was able to find the hotel after driving around for an hour and making a few wrong turns
Asking people for directions here is apparently akin to requesting a kidney

Lol - was thinking I should have printed out the MapQuest directions like we used toLife before Google Maps etc…
I happened to be in the Verizon Store as people were noticing that service was out. I was amazed at how many people came to the store while I was there. I would’ve just chalked it up to some sort of system outage.
I switched from AT&T to Verizon yesterday. Good timing.
wow thanks for that. It happened to me around then and then my wife. I googled it and went to Verizon's outage map and got nothing. I should have known to look here first. My phone's wouldn't even work on the wifi which is weird. Said my phones weren't registered on any network. Texting was and still is random.

My BIL works for Verizon and has been saying for years T*Mobile has been eating their lunch.
Multiple phones in the household, some lost service some were fine.

Don’t know but I claimed it through the app. It was quick and easy, said it would show up in 1-2 billing cycles.
