IU up 21-7 after that self forced fumble by Oregon inside their own 5!!

And I find it weirdly funny that most everyone was pissed at Oregon for them coming into the conference with all their confident swagger and then winning the B1G last season.

But now, everyone hates IU because they finally have (bought) a FB team that will likely win it all. Remember, wasn't tOSU's NC roster from last year $25+M?

Don't hate the player (IU), hate the game (NIL).

His point is well taken though, and Ol' Doodle said it earlier this year as well. The fact that IU, of all programs, has in 2 years solved the science that has baffled Iowa for decades is more than just a little galling.

As unsavory as Oregon is as a football program, we should be loath to celebrate finding ourselves looking up (potentially for a long time) at Indiana.........in FOOTBALL.
What Indiana is doing is unprecedented in 150+ years of football

IU runs 55%of plays.
Oregon runs a lot.
Miami runs the ball a whole lot.

Run the ball, stop the run...pathway to titles.
That’s the foundation for sure. But what separates those teams from Iowa are skill position playmakers that can make plays when it’s winning time. Mendoza and Sarrat against us. Dante Moore against us. Lemon against us. Trenches are foundational, but playmakers win titles.

Yep. As evidenced by the fact that as of early November it was still the losingest program in the entire long, storied history of collegiate football. And now it's on the verge of a national championship game appearance.
And he’s built a program that’s basically perfect in every phase.

They have one of top OL in country
They run the ball
Extremely accurate QB who’s all time gamer
Big play WR

Stout DL
LB
CB

Stop run. Rush passer. Get turnovers.

And here at Iowa we’re laughed at cause of our offense but we’re hard nose blue collar!
