Kind of weird that more people aren't pissed off about this. Not very cool by Pat and I guess Woods is going scorched earth.
Reeks of poaching and tampering. But it is what it is. While I wish the best for Jaz, I hate that he went to another B1G, especially MSU. Low key hoping they suck next year.
Dakin is poaching, not sure I see Jaz in this light. He wasn't provided the opportunity many on this board would have liked to have seen. It was a smart move by the kid to look for the chance he deserves.
i have zero issues with jaz going anywhere but fitz is a pathetic ****
lester and kirk would be best served by showing fitz's kid the door...i can see only bad things happen by keeping that guy here

It's possible that Lavar reached out to Jaz after the portal announcement. It's also possible he was spoken to before his announcement. We'll likely never know. I'll be concerned if anymore players end up at MSU though, I just don't like the idea of Lavar poaching our players. It's partly why I'm relived that Entringer isn't going there.
We can all dream, I think that ship has sailed with that bama offer.

Said it before, and I'll say it again. We'll have to work with guys that no one else wants. Like those who are looking for a chance to play D1 ball. It sucks, but if we want to see better WR prospects and transfers, we'll have to have a larger emphasis on the passing game and actually have success while doing it. These players are looking for their way to get to the NFL, they don't care about the culture or how good of a person Kirk is. Thanks for putting us in this hole, Brian.

Finally a portal commit from an FBS team. I like that he has 3 years left. D Line will be major weakness next year besides Epenesa.
Do you watch the games? Weak? Merriwehter? Hawthorne, Eppy.. my god get a grip. And three or 4 from the portal, as well as a bunch of young talent.
We have plenty of young WR talent especially if a couple guys can stay healthy.
The good thing is that Iowa hasn’t had a WR go into the portal. That tells me they like what they see from Hecklinski/Brown/Lester.

Just seems like a red flag when that was his first mention lol. Too much scar tissue with injury prone portal additions.
So, I'll go ahead and jinx us at this point. It is fairly apparent that the staff is paying the players present to stick around. There are recruits in the midst at the WR position, and it is the one spot where Kirk has played younger guys. If we can even get near the contribution of someone like Dominique Douglas (cough), we'd be set. I'm still much more concerned with the QB play, and possibly DL depth.
