But going into the semifinals, it became clear that Miami had to win the national title.

This is based on tried and true laws of the college football universe. There hasn’t been a new unanimous national champion in college football since FSU won their first title in 1993. 33 years. Miami was the only team in the semis that had won it before.

Oregon (the new kid who’s been trying to buy their way into the club) vs Miami (an old blue blood member) is my prediction. Indiana’s coach about to turn into a pumpkin.

Conventional wisdom says Oregon in the other one. All the P4 rematches this year have gone to the team that lost the first one. I hope it's Indiana.

We will see. But Miami is going to be the more talented team, no matter who comes out from the other bracket.
Cristobal is pretty mediocre, Miami got lazy and coasted for half the season. IU is very efficient and precise on offense and better on defense than ole Miss. I think Miami beats Oregon but not IU.

Check out the Cuban story line with Miami and Indiana.... Wait a minute... is Cristobal Cuban? Is Mendoza? WHAT.

It was easy to see last night how Miami lost to 2 mediocre teams they had no business losing to.
