We rely on Stirtz too much on offense when he is in double edged sword when he is off
He's not in the little boys league anymore. 50 guys in the big ten would be mvc mvp
Iowa IMO is one solid shooting veteran wing short of really being a very tough out because if Stirtz is off really struggle.
Thought Sage played too much and Cooper needs to be more aggressive

I think the issue is one of talent. BM can coach w/ anyone, and he will scheme and prepare his way to a lot of wins w/ this team. But if BS is stopped, this team will struggle to win. Especially on the road. Just not enough offensive firepower...yet.
Iowa had 4 fouls all half, and the first 2 were on its All-American PG, which saw him sit for a big portion of said half. (honestly, might have worked more in Iowa's favor that way)
Not saying B1G officiating sucks or conspiracies etc, but as a guy who averages 2-2.5 fouls per game so far ...... not saying its fishy, but it kinda smells like a wharf around here.

Iowa's top 4 scorers have 0 points tonight. Stirtz, Folgueiras, Banks, and Manyawu. Yet ...
Just said on the halftime show that Iowa four TOP scorers combined for ZERO points in the first half.

Yeah, I agree to certain extent the refs constantly go after certain players, Hmm wonder why?
Seeing a lot of emotional statements in this thread and the game has not yet concluded. Wil the three stooges from the last game thread teach them a lesson?
Against scrub cupcake teams he's got a slow bumbling turn he uses to look to score off that backdown dribble, but against real teams its very weak sauce.
Here's hoping there are a few more shot clock issues in the 2nd half, because according to Morris, that was the ONLY reason Iowa went on that run to get the lead back because of the faux timeout it allowed Iowa to turn the momentum around.
We don't focus on the post in this offense although I think we should at times
Medved is a quality BB coach. He and Mc are birds of a feather. Minnesota might have made the best off-season hire in the B10?
