Yeah coaching is leaving a lot to be desired this year. It's not just on the players. This is a poor job by Collins and crew.
Very frustrating for the team to be so poor with defense and rebounding. Our guys just seem to get pushed around.

We probably will, but also might finish in last place.
If you can't beat Minnesota at home when they hsve not been good away from home you are definitely a good candidate to finish last. I expect that's where we'll end up.

That sucked. The stretch of about 5 seconds where minny hit a last second on the shot clock deep three and we missed one a few seconds shortly after- could tell it was game over.

He may have knowledge of the sets, but he’s largely an offensive black hole. I’m puzzled as to why KJ often isn’t even part of the rotation
I don’t disagree and don’t have answers on KJ. I can only think the offense is geared to only a select few guys and Clayton only takes shots when desperation time hits.

That would be poor coaching then. He’s obviously a decent 3 pt guy when it’s within the offense and it’s not like we have lots of great outside shooters. Just seems really strange. Like CC is trying to run him off- I can’t imagine any way he doesn’t transfer after the season unless he just really really wants a degree from NU

I’m talking about the offense when Clayton is playing. No idea what’s going on with KJ.

I am fearful that when Clayton hits a three, I will die of shock, leaving my son fatherless.

Just going to add on. Clayton may be an OK defender but he's not a lock-down defender and with the lack of offense from anyone except Mart, Page, Reid, not playing Windham just makes no sense. And I'm sure KJ knows the offense sets by now.

Agreed. Collins is supposed to get the best out of his players; that's the coach's job! He hasn't gotten that out of KJ, so what gives? Pride? Something else? Will be interesting to see as this season unfolds and losses pile up what changes Collins makes. The future of football looks incredibly bright and hoops, inexplicably, is very dark right now with an all-time gamer gone after this year.
