I have it on high confidence that Rhule is just waiting for the playoff to be over so we can pluck the best waterboy.
At this point, who cares. Look at the defense hotboard. As bad as we were the last 5 games, I have it on good authority that San Diego St is replacing our defense enough to make us a player.

Yes but this is different than our last one. Okam actually played the position in college and The NFL he was the main DL coach at multiple places in college and the NFL. It’s a pot roast with a way better resume.
He does have experience coaching DL at the college level, including Rice, Baylor, and Toledo. Of course he’s a Rhule buddy which lowers it from a B level hire to a D-.

Yes, I thought we were moving away from the bring in an NFL coach model and going with lower level coaches who actually teach the game. Maybe this guy will be different.
Why didn't we get this Okam guy last year? He also doesn't exactly to appear to moving up as he gains experience. Raiders DL coach to Toledo to an assistant NFL coach?

Because Rhule doesn't know how to build a coaching staff/roster. Rhule is a delusional self absorbed beta.
Wasn't the DB coach a DC before he came to Nebraska? Sort of exactly what you say about Okam, "doesn't appear to be moving up as he gains experience".
Moving from a Big 12 DC to a Big 10 DB coach does not appear to be the same as MAC DL coach to NFL Assistant DL coach. If this guy is so great, why did we hire that other random dude last year?
Frank was a good player in college. As a coach though? I think (may be wrong) but was fired or replaced at every stop he's had except for his time with rhule. Like I said I may be mistaken but I believe he was even let go by toledo. I really liked the rhule hire initially but his staff choices are bizarre.
Matt Rhule is a poor decision maker. Not something we are easily going to change. So what does it all matter? We're just moving people around on the deck of a sinking ship imo. I don't care who he hires or brings in.. until you fix the first part, none of it is going to matter. All this from the esteemed Ted Carter. 
I don't know, quite a bit of DL coaching experience. Knows Rhule which could be a positive or negative depending on your stance.
I like the hire as he has coached future pros and in the pros.
