We could see this coming for months. Been ramping up the military around the area for a while. Maybe the Nobel Prize winner and her people will eventually take over the nation.
Sadly just when a pro America President leaves office, all they have done for America will be replaced by someone for everybody else! It will be a one step forward and two steps back deal!!

This isn’t about drugs, but I think a large number of our problems come from people not understanding how supply and demand work. The War on Drugs has been focused on trying to fix it by focusing on the supply side, and it’s been an absolute failed strategy for 50+ years.
If there is a demand for drugs and you restrict supply, people still want drugs, so the price just goes up. When the price goes up, you’re now incentivizing more people to join in on the supply side because of the crazy amount of money that can be made.
We spend $45 billion a year on it (around $1 trillion total), 1 in 5 people in jail are there for drug offenses, and the result is we haven’t seen a reduction in drugs.
So it's not the smart way to go about it.To the Trump administration's credit, they are pursuing a failed strategy that has been pursued by everybody since Nixon.

Not saying the situations are the same but not sure this helps with Taiwan, Ukraine or small Arab nations. Our enemies will definitely use this against us. The propaganda war is something the US is not as adept as China and Russia.
