I feel like you're leaving someone out of the conversation, at least for the conference portion of games, just can't put my finger on who . 3A yeah it's Shelby and Lincolnton.

I thought about mentioning burns which will be more physical also. But felt like if I mentioned them. I would of got a reply of "well they are 4a and not our classification" it wasn't out dismissal

Burns will be extremely strong and have an excellent chance at the conference title as well as well as a State Title Contender

But y'all still gotta make it through Shelby and remember that regular season game was Shelby's worst game and y'all's best game and it still was overtime and getting ball last going for 2. And playoffs was 30-0.
Shelby will find a QB and have 2 good wr coming back and an awesome freshman RB.
Basically Shelby will match y'all in athleticism and beat y'all in physicality.

It been said a million times but it's really ridiculous those 4 are forced to play Highland Tech, Bessemer City & Cherryville in conference. Could say the same for West Lincoln and East Gaston most years, but they can at least field a semi-competitive team every 4 or 5 years.

Shelby was better than us this year. They might be better than us next year too. But they can be beat.

Hey dont rip on Highland Tech ya'll when speaking of your conferences, even though I do it all the time(just foolin around not really ripping) All they need is Tom Knotts. He'll have them being one of the top around.....you'll just notice after a while that South Point wont be doing as good, Ashbrook be losing more games for some reason, Huss wont win any games, you know.. stuff like that LOL

I’ve always been happy when another team might have a good season. Kind of felt a little envious at times, but I didn’t want to try and diminish them.

May have happened before but Culliver and Gibbs were some recent poaches that happened around here. Obviously happened before but we're some big Catawba County moves that started some moves.

Worked out for Maiden and the Kids for sure. Hard to not realize why they did it

I’m old school and I’ll be the one to say it because this is Christmas Day on here about transfers. College transfers are ruining the game at that level and ruining it for high school kids going to play at that level. Now we’re making posts on social media about transferring high schools! For one who cares and I promise you’re not that good to be parading it around. Second, what happened to staying where you are and playing and showing how good you are with the talent that’s around you. That’s too hard, kids have to work to do that instead of having things handed to them. You won’t always get the girl you want, the car you want, the job you want, etc. Start learning to fail in life early and you’ll know how to react when you’re punched in the face later in life. Mommy and daddy won’t always be there and you can’t always transfer to a winning side in life.

I split the fence on this one. There should be some checks and balances in place for sure, but what if your kid is zoned in area where the school system, school, coaches do not care. The only valid option cannot be to sell and buy a house to have a good high school experience. If a school/system does not care about athletics, they should have a choice. I could see giving every athlete one "free" transfer and then having to sit out no matter the reason for the next 365 days.

I have no info on when it's happening but if I was to guess on the line of events it would be this.
Beam gets hired as offensive coordinator first, I believe this will make him an "employee" of the school because I believe he gets paid for this.
Then I believe his son will go from East Lincoln to bandy's, under the rule that kids can attend the school a parent works at. But I also believe he could get a signed release to leave anyways. I don't think East will try to fight it.
Once again just my opinions don't know for sure. Could be wrong
