I'm surprised how many subs we have in already. Jirak and Mattioni already in.
We got a killer pick and roll game.
You are right about that, but must be said that the team they're playing is a dud - in terms of competition.
Yeah.
I know the competition isn't even mediocre, but a big let up after the first 8 minutes.
60-15 is more like what the halftime score should be.
McCollum letting guys deep on the bench get some minutes before conference play. That's the only reason we aren't running these guys out of the building.

Good first half in spite of the awful ending. Hawks can really pass the ball. Guy with the most upside might be Folguieras. Feeling increasingly good about this team going into conference play.
Be interesting to be a fly on the wall of the locker room right now. Ben definitely doesn't have the "red a$$" tendencies that Fran had on court. Not even close. But Doodle wonders if behind the scenes, especially after the putrid way they sleepwalked through the final couple minutes of the half against this scrub opponent, he may be reading them the riot act. Or maybe he always takes more of the even keel, cerebral approach both on and off the court. This part of the learning process with a new coach is intriguing.

Cam and Stirtz could have put up 30 each if they wanted to but didn’t need to in a game like this.
He ended up with 14/2. I watched him in a few games during Eurobasket earlier this year. He looked slow and in all honesty, not that great. Ben has him doing better. Maybe that's what he needed, a really good coach to help his overall game. He's not the speediest, nor extremely gifted athlete, but the fundamentals are there. They have to be there to play for Ben. And, I believe that's what Ben said his staff worked on with all the players he's had come in on-fundamentals.

Lowell-UMass actually played pretty good man-on-man defense. They were undersized and outmanned.
That montas and Spencer could play at Iowa.
Spencer,the Canadian, was a physical speciman, strong dude
These days I find myself scouting these lesser teams for potential transfer candidates for hawks
