Close game, wish it turned out the other way. Still think either team can make a run in the playoffs. Bflo missed extra point and Allen just missed for the 2 point conversion. Tough loss, he was pretty pissed he missed it.

That loss is on Josh Allen. Fumble, huge sack when in FG range, missing a wide open Cook at the goal line for an easy TD when trying to score, bad throw on the two point conversion. Of course the blocked extra point was huge too but Bills hurt themselves.

Just a thought I had watching an earlier Fox pregame. Now Howie Long and Strahan are big dudes, but Gronk standing next to them still dwarfs them. He is one insanely large dude

I love the way T. Brady be talking up Allen like he’s the greatest thing since T. Brady. And then on the next play he misses a wide open guy in the end zone on a two yard pass play. 🤣

Two biggest plays of the game were Allen’s fumble and Allen’s choke on the 2 pt attempt.

I'm not sure if Hurts had a pass completion in the 2nd half

Edit: I guess he did. The Birds had 17 yards passing in the 2nd half

Edit #2: I'm not so sure about those 17 yards. I've seen that Hurts was 0 for 7 in the 2nd half
Math is hard.

Clowning aside, a nice win against a strong team in a hostile environment in a typhoon. Have a drink and take a deep breath.

Hurts has to run more when the games really start counting. It opens up so much for the Eagles. We’re playing with one hand behind our back with Hurts sitting in the pocket

It will be really nice to get a well rested and healthier Lane Johnson back
Do you really think Paris Johnson is that big a problem?

Allen is playing injured and in a storm. Id wager almost everyone would agree he's a top 3 QB. Not sure why this is your response. Buffalo hits the XP they win.
Also Hurts didn't complete a pass in the second half...

Yeah, the Bills were 26-2 in their last 28 games at home. It is not easy to win there, and the elements were not conducive for a well played game.

You don’t know when a back needs to run w authority. SB didn’t on that play
You know about as much as a Giants fan who had the same complaint about Barkley as he was getting swallowed up by three or four defenders in the backfield. Run with authority so you can get -2 yards instead of -3 and risk blowing out your shoulder.

Hurts hasn’t been running all year….apparently he’s strictly a pocket passer now.

We’d have had more pass completions if receivers wore leather instead of rubber gloves. Or no gloves.
Just ask T. Brady. 🤣

Who’s Paris Johnson? You mean Fred Johnson?

I guess I’m weird wanting back a HOF caliber tackle who, when he plays, makes the team almost unbeatable.

Having an intact, somewhat rested O-line for the playoffs will be huge. Our dogshit division really helps us late in the season since we haven’t had a must win game in 3 weeks

If you mean Fred Johnson … yes. He’s not playing well. However Steen is worse. Also no idea how Jurrgens made the pro bowl
Him too. Steen isn’t playing bad. I think Stout needs to go back to his zone scheme. Scrap the gap stuff

Too bad the Packers couldn't recover the onside kick by the Bears last weekend. If they had the Eagles would have a much better chance of getting the second seed. That can make a big difference.

I think everyone was playing in the rain.
And Hurts didn’t need to complete a pass in the second half. He won.

Yup - needs to change. Needs to lean into what makes him dangerous. I get it if he wanted to pace himself through the long season, but it’s time to lay it all out there

Good thing out of it is he can rest that foot next week and get ready for playoff run.

Agree. Last year his mobility more than compensated for his not-so-great vision and accuracy and opened things up for Barkley. Not so much this year.

Buffalo wins that game 9 out of 10 times. Amazing how you can get outgained almost 2 to 1 in yards and first downs and still feel great about the world for a week. Missed XP, Missed 2pt completion a cripple could make, 4th down stop on 1/2 yard line, couple huge sacks pushing out of FG range. Sports…
