More means enough to pay them plus more than you can make on your own. I have my doubts. This is essentially a for profit collective.

Nothing wrong with JMI's response. All they are saying is we're set up to more that just get the players their initial cash. Since they are a media company they want to use their expertise to represent the players to help them sign even more contracts to promote them and build their brand. I'd much rather them do that than some of these agents.

You seem to be implying Pope is the problem based on the fact that JQ played limited minutes. However, you leave out some important information. JQ is recovering from major knee surgery, it was his second game back and he wasn’t needed to win this game. Let’s see how many minutes he gets against Alabama.

So explain why UK is unsuccessful in getting any of their top targets to date and it is a well known fact the NIL agreement has been the sticking point. Having an iron clad NIL package in place along with the prestige that the KY basketball program represents one would think we could sign just about anyone we want yet we have exactly zero commitments in place and have (for the moment at least) lost our top two prospects who were heavy UK leans. So let’s hear the why????
Ok fine and dandy, but making a kid sign an exclusivity clause that prevents them from finding opportunities out from under the JMI umbrella is ludicrous. These kids need to be allowed other options if they are available or if their agents have other connections for them.
I’m not gonna believe it’s a “Pope can’t close” thing with the JMI exclusivity clause out there. I think it’s wholly a JMI thing and it’s scaring kids off. Until enough stink is raised about that it’s going to fall into it being Popes fault. I hope Stein and his GM have answers for it.

Who cares what KSR says. We had the worst freshman class in the SEC in football by a mile. We were unable to sign anyone worth a poop.
We currently have the worst freshman class in basketball because we don’t have one. NO ONE will commit and sign.
But blame both coaches and staffs. Agents hate JMIs structure. Does it matter exactly what they don’t like??
Stoops also couldn’t sign a freshman class this year. Four other schools had already fired their coach and out recruited us with an interim coach.
