Ehh, it's fun getting him riled up so that he can counterargue for the sake of counterarguing (i.e. Basically suggest something in an extreme connotation and he'll respond to argue the opposite. Say Iowa is a bad team and he'll argue they're better than you think and being negative is only harming the team. I noticed some really good moves and hip swivel on the QB run in that video. Hard to tell how fast he is. And if he grew 4-5 inches in this last year it might take him awhile to get used to that new size and frame.

I think of hybrid, one of those guys who can block inside, go over the middle for tough yards but also flank way out on the edge for a mismatch

He could have the straight line speed, I mean Usain Bolt was not short, but you are correct about cutting, swiveling, and going in and out of breaks I think the shorter receivers have an edge there as far as "quickness"
Man, a lot of options for where to play him. He is Jack Campbell size at 6-4 220 , could be a DEnd, TEnd of course or if he has the speed also play WR out wide to set up mismatches.
If he grows another 2 inches then probably TEnd or DEnd.
Agree, a very recent, and highly successful connection to the team, parents have about a 4 hr drive, wearing the black and gold, parents would have a long drive to Purdue, MSU, even Northwestern, Minny and Nebby would be decent drives for the parents but c'mon.
Cinderalla story if he is also great at Iowa and the brothers would have and even stronger bond. I wish him well like all our players. It is hard to rise to starter but Iowa rotates a lot of players.
My reply to 85Bears was that straight line speed could be equal or close for a 5'11 or 6 ft guy vs a 6'4 or 6'5 guy, I reminded him that Usain Bolt was not short. But yeah I think coming out of breaks/cuts is probably quicker for a shorter player
