Yeah it was brutal yesterday. One of my outdoor fake Christmas trees broke because of it. I ordered a replacement hopefully it gets delivered today.
I was at a Bottle King last night and the power went out in East Windsor. It was out for every business it seemed within a mile on Rt 130. It was cash only after that and they made everyone come to front of store.
And I thought it was just here in Delaware. And BTW- I have never been in an area with more consistent wind than Delaware. lol
According to the Rutgers Weather Station in Sea Girt we had gusts as high as 54mph around 6pm here.
I was chasing tarps that were weighted down with 8" block on our siding material for the house all night. Somehow it became my responsibility to cover it for the snow and rain. At around 9 pm I just gave up and started chucking them in the shop as they blew off.
Been meaning to have a tree removed. Yesterday’s winds did the job for me, thankfully in the proper direction. Cleanup will be much cheaper than full tree removal.
I knew a girl once who was nicknamed after Delaware: the great American flatlands!
Talking about just consistent. Anyway- never lived out west or the Great Plains for a year straight.
