Walk-onI am too lazy to look up if he was on scholarship, but that could be why.

North Carolina is up to 18, Okie State, Central Florida aren't far behind.Iowa has Stratton in the portal, I would assume we see more after the bowl game. Hopefully no major transfers.
DT and DE for sure. I also think finding a proven WR will be a high priority. Would not be surprised if they take OL or LB if they find a gem.Hawks will be agressive looking for a DT and DE. A corner back if they can find a contributor. Kicker might be looked at. Maybe a WR. TE, RB, OL, LBer are in good shape.
I think they are going to run with what they have.
I'd be surprised if they all stick around. I also wonder about the TE room, wouldn't be surprised if Burt transferred.Given the rb room has 6 guys in it that the coaches like, and barring any changes, they'll stand pat there.
We have three tight end sets so you never know. Kittle waited his turn as did Hockenson. Fant played sooner but Hock jumped him later on. Vonnahame (sp?) looks to be a future star. A lot of young TE talent in the room.I'd be surprised if they all stick around. I also wonder about the TE room, wouldn't be surprised if Burt transferred.
A lot of talented young LBer's. They will only get better if they see the fieldDT and DE for sure. I also think finding a proven WR will be a high priority. Would not be surprised if they take OL or LB if they find a gem.
Burt isn't on the depth chart, Hoffman left. It sounds like Meyer was ready to see the field according to the staff, With Ortwerth, Vonnahame, Ostrenga, Meyer all ahead of him, Brewer coming in a long with not knowing about Eli Johnson, and Woods. I would be surprised if all of them stick around. We have three tight end sets so you never know. Kittle waited his turn as did Hockenson. Fant played sooner but Hock jumped him later on. I heard on a podcast that O’Lontae Dean is now a running back as well.Given the rb room has 6 guys in it that the coaches like, and barring any changes, they'll stand pat there.
With Craig and merriweather returning I guess it depends on how PP feels with younger guys like epenesa and some of the other freshman for DE. But I hope DT they do look for someone.DT and DE for sure. I also think finding a proven WR will be a high priority. Would not be surprised if they take OL or LB if they find a gem.
That is a compact throwing motion, I'm surprised he can put as much on it as he does, he certainly has good touch.I have no idea if the Blue Hens QB is going to enter the portal or not but I'd love to see him in the black and gold next year. Come in and get spring ball, summer workouts and fall practice. He'd be great in TL's offense.
Craig graduated last year. Assume you mean Allen. DT is a definite needWith Craig and merriweather returning I guess it depends on how PP feels with younger guys like epenesa and some of the other freshman for DE. But I hope DT they do look for someone.
Speaking of D-line, just saw this article that talks about an Iowa Native DL in the portal, but also gives a good summary of other needs. When Iowa has been great, they typically have had great D-lines. It’s the one area where Iowa can use an upgrade and see a big payoff. Phil and Kelvin know how to get their DLine to perform at an elite level.
I'm assuming that NIL package wasn't renewed.Again?
Lol
AGH one can always dream.
Sorsby is average at best, when he is playing from behind he looks terrible. watch his game vs utah 11-33 221 yards 1 TD 1 INTSorsby is the definition of a “gamer” - will do whatever is necessary. And he’s very accurate. I don’t really know why he’d go to Iowa right now but he would be a great addition.
I am picking Oregon to win at least 2 games in playoffs and do think they could win it all.Fox posted Oregon has 6 - 5 star players and 52 - 4 star players on their roster! How did Iowa even keep it close???
Their WR corp is anything but healthyI am picking Oregon to win at least 2 games in playoffs and do think they could win it all.
Their wr corp is finally healthy.

Kyler should have transferred out last year. With 1 year of eligibility left and being buried on the depth chart, I'm not sure who he transfers to.I didn’t look it up again before posting but Kyler Kasper (son of former Hawk Kevin Kasper who held an Iowa offer) has something like 8 catches over 4 years at Oregon …all in mop-up duty and IIRC half of those catches against OOC low ranked teams. Might have been over-ranked as a recruit.
I believe there is a younger brother (high school junior?) who has been offered by Oregon.
Yes. Good catch. Brain fart on my end.Craig graduated last year. Assume you mean Allen. DT is a definite need
He also enrolled a year early. I think if he transfers I could see him going back home to play at ASU.I didn’t look it up again before posting but Kyler Kasper (son of former Hawk Kevin Kasper who held an Iowa offer) has something like 8 catches over 4 years at Oregon …all in mop-up duty and IIRC half of those catches against OOC low ranked teams. I think your full of it. My understanding was Nestor left because of the turmoil surrounding his Dad when he got run out at West Branch, then Dad went scorched earth F bombing all things Iowa on his way out of town. Nor sure what that has to do with Kirk, but do tell. When you make lesser talents starters you are chasing off a player. The 27yr list is very loonnnngggggggg.

?????? Craig left over a year ago. Still we're pretty stocked at DE. DT is a much bigger need.....With Craig and merriweather returning I guess it depends on how PP feels with younger guys like epenesa and some of the other freshman for DE. But I hope DT they do look for someone.
Its called culture and coaching. But hey lets run Kirk out of town..Lolol..Fox posted Oregon has 6 - 5 star players and 52 - 4 star players on their roster! How did Iowa even keep it close???
He kind of reminded me of a poor man Tyrone Tracy. Athletically Talented guy but our staff didn’t really know how to use him is he a rb or wr?Washington is transferring to nobody's surprise. That's okay and best of luck to him.
Maybe he just likes the school and is happy there. I imagine he's seen for a several years that he isn't at the level required to get playing time at Oregon.Kyler should have transferred out last year. With 1 year of eligibility left and being buried on the depth chart, I'm not sure who he transfers to.
