I actually really liked Gill in the beginning, but maybe that was a case of watching too many sub par WRs in years prior. I really like RVZ (stating the obvious) and Howard, so that is a solid foundation assuming they come back. As far as a QB that can throw it to them…aren’t we due?!?!,! In very limited action, I saw something in Hecklinski that has my hopes up.

I'm glad he did well for the Gophers, but his inflated stats were based on really great games vs an awful FCS Northwestern State (with one win in the last three years) and the finale with Wisconsin. Beyond that he was simply average and against Iowa he was an easy target to pick on.

Colman and Raiola are the epitome of Husker recruiting since they joined the big 10. This time of year we always hear their fans gloating about their great highly ranked recruits and how they are bringing them back to the promise land etc. ironically this maybe first year they aren’t with their 10 person class only ahead of psu right now. And like these 2 guy they either don’t live up to the hype and never develop or leave the program and transfer out.
