Didn’t say they wouldn’t be able to pass. I just know that pressure will be different. We will run. They will pass. 4th round exit last year and a 5th round exit the year before. I just don’t see them letting this game slide
Understandable, it's just been mind blowing to me that, your assessment of this game has SPEED being one of the deciding factors. I've heard 100000000 things about Kinston football over the years, but a problem of team speed has never been one of them
The older Shelby fans and posters know better. Kinston will definitely be one of the faster teams Shelby has played this year. For sure the fastest team we have seen in the playoffs. The Lions will need to play their best game this year to win this one.

Don't listen to this Crest moron, he's been hollering for us to play up and we went up two classifications to play them and got beat by 7. When Crest played up two classifications they got blown out. So don't mind him, he eats carp bait for lunch. Shelby knows Kinston has speed and will be a very tuff out. It will be a high scoring shootout more than likely. Of course penalties and turnovers could factor in. I for one would like to see a referee crew call holding on the opposing team holding our DE's on about every play, even to the point of pulling their jerseys over their shoulder pads and the head ref helping fix our guys jersey, but no flags ever. Oh, and if we get the same crew we had at ER we're done for.

Kinston's QB gets the ball out quick - One step and it's out of his hands. I'd be more concerned about capping the receivers than I would pressuring the QB.

Our problem is we have always had coaches that respected the opponents and we as fans have learned from that. Kinston is lead by the number 1 QB in the state with big time receivers and are playing the their best ball of the year. The quote goes That's why you play the game.

Anyone know anything about this place Shelby is playing? What time the gates open, can we take in a stadium seat, can we use cash or is it card only, and is there a bathroom on the both sides. Shelby has played at two places in the playoffs that didn't have that.

Northern Durham High School plays home games there as does Shaw University. N.C. Central used to call it home.
All I know is Kinston beat what I thought was the best team in this multi-county area in James Kenan and beat them 30-7/ Shelby better be able to play pass defense. Kinston is a rare eastern team that slings it. Hear that qb may be going to Mississippi and their prime receiver signed with State last week. Based on what I saw last week I might would pick Kinston. They've always had athletes but over the years it was alway basketball and baseball. Now they turned on to football.
