I know I'm not in the majority, but I don't see how it is sustainable when the people giving money for this stuff get zero return. Eventually, they are going to want a return. It's a giveaway with no required commitment from the beneficiary at the moment and that just won't work, long term.

No, delusion is acting like your contribution is making some kind of difference when Iowa doesn't have the big money donors (the only ones that matter), while the evidence CLEARLY shows its not. Delusion is continuing to carry the banner for "NIL" when as been clearly shown endlessly that these "collectives" have absolutely NOTHING to do with NIL. NOTHING, NADA, ZILCH. When State Farm comes to you or your agent and says "Jees, Caitlin, your such a great player. How would you like to do some commercials and will pay you 000,000.00. THATS NIL. Not 100% sure. Just said his son met with the coaches, they told him he is on track to play and like his progress (He is in his 2nd year) and that he was given 100K in NIL. Other teammates were told hit the portal, etc. I guess it's just a mess and causing tons of dysfunction.
