The grapevine is saying many Iowa State players and recruits are unhappy with how this all went down, and many are planning to leave and/or ask out of their recent commitment. Things about to get ugly in Ames.

Because ISU doesn’t have trust issues. We haven’t settled suits with former coaches for discriminatory actions. We haven’t settled suits with student athletes because the actions of the staff put them at risk during training. We haven’t been sued by multiple former players for racial discrimination. We haven’t had a staff member attempt to cover up a sexual assault by a student athlete on another student athlete, for which the offender ended up going to prison. Yep, it all comes down to trust.

LOL! I’m not a Clone fan.

In football, teams like Iowa State will always be a "steppingstone or where retreads go".

One year or ten years...it's not a destination job.

Lil Matty just verified this fact of life.

A bunch of cucks in the ISU fanbase…

“We still love you CMC”
“Thank you Coach Campbell”
“I would’ve done the same thing”
“I don’t blame him for taking the PSU job”
“We’ll still root for you”

And on and on and on. He lied to and duped his staff, players and fans, and left your program scrambling and in shambles, and the best you guys can do is still get on your knees for him?

If that’s not the definition of a cuck, I don’t know what is.

I believe simping is the term for this phenomena.

Back to the OP's subject line. When Campbell renegotiated his contract with the low buyout it was pretty clear where things were going. Twas just a matter of timing.

Agree.

It became clear that Notre Dame and tOSU weren't opening up anytime soon.
It wasn't "if" Matty would leave, only "when".

Why would any Parent or Recruit in the future ever trust Your POS program that knew Campbell was leaving and had a new Coach already hired to announce 5 minutes after Campbell walked and had not even addressed the locker room yet ? Your scumbag AD and program allowed an entire Class to sign under fraudulent conditions lying to everyone of them including Their Families . If You had any standards and honor over there everyone of Your donors and the fanbase would be demanding Pollards head instead meh it is ok to screw over those Kids and Their Families , nothing to see here, Piss on the lot of You .
So you're the ONE person in the country that doesn't look at college football as a business?

I made a rare visit to cyclone fanatic to see what the general feeling over there is. There is a post by one of the site’s co-founders who knows people on the inside. Apparently much of the blame falls on Pollard and the way he handles NIL. Both Campbell and TJ Oxylburg have pleaded with him to handle NIL the way other teams do, but he insists on doing it his way. Campbell and TJ were not happy. In fact, it was suggested it could cause TJ to leave in a couple of years.

So, if JP had let Campbell manage his NIL scraps and have more "control," he might not have left? Pure homerism. Why can't these people just admit that he did what only an idiot wouldn't have done? For a coach not afraid of a challenge, it's a vastly superior job in every single way. THAT is why he left. I'm glad he got out when he did. He's too good of a coach to suffer through what's coming for ISU athletics.

TJ has an enormous buyout. It's the third highest in all of college basketball. You'd better believe JP is clinging to that!

and knock her over to get it!
These Players and most Parents expect transparency and honesty , Nobody says a Coach cannot leave but do not hide it till after a Kid signed and that is what ISU did like a bunch of turdburglars , It is a business but these are still Families who all got the rug pulled out from under Them by a shady AF Coach and AD

I'd give the new guy a chance as he had nothing to do with it, but Jamie sure knew. Maybe he was naive thinking Campbell surely won't leave and uproot his family after 10 years.

Yeah clown you know all about positing nothing you have a clue about. Why don't you go back to clown fanatic and cry with the clowns over there.
He posts on Hawkeye Report and Cyclone Report, two sports sites, and says he is not a fan. His life must be incredibly boring.

It used to be quite high. Last time contract was negotiated it was dropped dramatically. Think it's around 4 or 5 million. Maybe nothing but does make you wonder.
