Here we go!
The game we’ve all been waiting for. Prime time slot on the mother ship in what is likely the biggest game in the history of this rivalry.

#11 Iowa (9-0) heads to Ames to look to take down #10 Iowa St (10-0). There are so many storylines to this game but I’m most excited to see Ava vs Audi.

IMHO in prefer for the hawks to win they must limit the turnovers and play fast. Rim run all night long. Getting Crooks early fouls would be huge too.

In the end, I think the hawks come up just short 76-67 in a tough battle.

Run run run. Quick dump downs to Ava in hopes of getting Crooks covering late and fouling. Also need Journey to continue to contribute. Stuelke has been pretty much of a non factor so far this season. Jan needs to light a fire under her a$$ or she could lose minutes.

I know Jan likes to pound it into the low post (and for good reason) but I believe that high % perimeter shooting will be the difference if Iowa wins at Hilton. Wright, McCabe, Deal, Stremlow need to bury 3s tonight. Feuerbach tends to be hot/cold…. good opportunity to turn up the temp.

Good matchup, Great shot at NCAA resume boosting win and if it’s a close loss not a killer. I do worry that Iowa’s poor free throw shooting could bite them in the ***. ISU shoots nearly 80% from the line, Iowa 66%. Hoping the Hawks shoot well tonight!

I suspect they're going to have a similar strategy to try to get Ava into foul trouble. Whichever team is more successful in getting the opponent's post into foul trouble will have a big advantage. If they both get into foul trouble, I like our bench, but I honestly don't know anything about theirs

In my opinion Iowa State has to accomplish 3 goals to win this game. 1.) Be physical at the rim 2.) Drive Iowa off the 3 point line and make them settle for 20 foot jump shots and 3.) Do not turn the ball over.

I think that Audi moves at the same speed...and Hannah, Layla, and Ava each attempt to take a charge and we are left without any post players until next year
