Las Vegas Bowl 2025

Utah is a team loaded with great talent and future NFL players which makes me wonder how many of those great players are we going to see Dec. 31th. I know Nebraska will most likely not have EJ play in the Bowl game it's far to risky for him to play but other than that we don't have too many star players opting out you would think. I know our two new coaches will be working getting the team ready for the Bowl game so it will be interesting to see if it makes much of a difference in our teams play.

Now Utah may be another story, who plays who doesn't, I'm just not sure how much of a difference it will make but it could even things out a little. I know their QB is going play and be the biggest challenge Nebraska has faced as far as a dual threat this year, so lets hope they have some of those stars around him opt out to make it a more competitive game hopefully.

I know this is Kyle Whittingham's last game coaching so maybe all this is a moot point, I'm just not sure. By the way All I want this Christmas is for Nebraska to show up and show some pride and play a decent game and finish of the year with grit and grind for the good people of Nebraska. It's all I want for Christmas this year. GBR!

Matt Rhule and the Athletic Department and the team should be giving the BIG RED NATION a big thank you for the invite to this bowl game. If the Las Vegas Bowl had to go in order of record we wouldn't sniff this bowl game, Nebraska is at this bowl because of it's fans period.

I'm going to be very disappointed if some of the players on the Nebraska squad opt out who have no reason to opt out, doing so it's like giving to middle finger to the fans who have supported them even when things were bad.

I would hope Matt Rhule would send this message to these players telling them the season they got this very good bowl game was because of the great fan base, period.

If Nebraska didn't have the following it has they wouldn't be going to this bowl game that's the whole point. Nebraska was selected simply because Nebraska sells tickets, has a good TV audience and will help with the local economy. Without the following of the loyal fanbase Nebraska would be playing in a nothing bowl this December. Nebraska is playing in Las Vegas not on it's merit this season, and not because it's a blue blood it's because of it's fans. jmo
