Join a conference first if you want a say. Doesn't even have to be a big one. It would be great if they are left out due to the Sun Belt conference being included. Whiners.

There will always be a "first team left out", no matter what the number. IMHO, once you have multiple losses you have no reason to complain
There’s always going to be discussions (or whining) as to who should or shouldn’t be in the playoffs. It doesn’t matter if it’s a four team bracket, 12 team bracket, or 24 teams….. It’s a given and if you seriously thought a 12 team bracket would end that, that’s more on you than the ones discussing it. Basketball has 68 teams in the tournament and every year people still bring up the same arguments of who got left out and who shouldn’t be in.
I really don’t feel so bad for the 10th, 11th, or 12th best school being left out as opposed to the 5th or 6th best team being excluded. Especially when one of those teams refuse to join a conference.
If you aren't among the consensus twelve best teams in the country it is hard to take seriously the argument "But we could have been national champs!"

My guess is that dude was itching to use the 'ole "that's more on you..." bit.
Why? They have one close loss to the #2 team in the country. Should they be punished because they lost in the conference championship game instead of the regular season?
I believe Ole Piss should have dropped a few spots since they don't have their original coach. FSU got dinged for not having their starting qb and missed the 4-team playoff going 13-0 (whatever happened in their bowl game is irrelevant since so many starters opted out).

This is a common narrative, but also a myth. Alabama was ahead of Florida State in every possible metric at the end of the season, and anyone with eyeballs (including Michigan) knew that 'Bama was the better team. The QB injury made the decision easier for the Committee but it was still a pretty clear-cut decision. The ACC has since been in a free-fall.

You’re right, If it had been Bama and Georgia in a 1 vs 2 championship game, you can bet your *** they wouldn’t have dropped the team that lost by 3 points.

Not really. Nobody on earth would consider a team for the nat champ that lost to isu and Indiana in the same season. Think about it. Now, watch the the big time teams roll Indiana in the playoffs.
