Will know more Thursday.MSU was a test. ISU at lames will be more than a test, should have a better idea of what the ceiling is for the Hawks.

All that we will learn on Thursday is that Iowa needs better players to compete with top ten teams. If Iowa somehow wins, it won't because Iowa is better. It will be because ISU had an off night most likely.

The amount of possessions will matter. I don't expect a win, but if they're competitive on both ends then we'll get a clearer picture.

That's hilarious. Making excuses for ISU already? Hell, man, it's all part of the thing called sports. It's usually a combination of how you play and how your opponent plays. How about this: If Iowa had made most of its three-pointers at East Lansing, they'd have beaten the Spartans. MSU didn't win because they are better. They won because Iowa had on off night from three AND because Stirtz played the worst game of his career. See how that works? LOL

I wish you were correct about being off in E Lansing but unfortunately we were dominated by a better team. Iowa needs better players if they want to compete with the big boys. I hope I’m wrong and MSU game was just one of those off nights but I don’t believe I am and I expect a game similar in Ames.
