I had a chance to see Clayton play SE Raleigh last week in C-Town. It was a great game. I'm still concerned: if SE's starting QB didn't get hurt in the mid-3rd, could Clayton have come away with the win? Or would it have been a close-margin win since they were tied when he got hurt? But that is history, after going back and watching them beat Gibbons 35-32 last night and seeing Grimsley beat a good Weddington team 13-7, are the reigning state champs (new classification from last year) in jeopardy? I did see them last year against Rolesville, and I was impressed because going into that game, I thought no one could beat the Rolesville Rams team from last year in the entire State of North Carolina till after that game.

It seems that Clayton’s QB carries both their air and ground attack. They will need others to step up to compete with Grimsley.

hough should be ranked top 20 nationally also idk why yall think all these states have so many better schools than nc, nc is top 10 in the country with nfl players. these other states they always send their private schools with recruited talent nationwide to play public schools honestly those schools should have their own ranking system if we being honest because public schools vs public schools nc can compete with anyone in the country
