Shedeur has been playing well for a 5th round rookie with 3 starts. His latest game was his best game thus far, good enough that his team should have won. The coach is being criticized for taking the ball out of Shedeur’s hands on the game tying 2 pt attempt, to instead try some stupid gimmick wildcat play that was hopeless. Otherwise, Shedeur might have finished the comeback victory.

He got replaced by something that requires 4 D cell batteries.

I'm his biggest fan this week. Let's see if he can beat Duh Bears.

Shedeur purchased a new car for a stadium janitor who helped him change a flat tire?

OK...props to him for that. That, is way freaking cooll.

Why the Browns will always be the Browns.

The only chance Shedure had was getting drafted by a team that at some point he wouldn’t have to carry on his shoulders he could have learned from a vet and had good coaching around him The reason Cleveland sucks is because they think a Good QB is/ was all the need to be good. You could put Mahomes or Josh Allen in Cleveland and they would obviously be a little better but they wouldn’t be a playoff type team even those dudes would need help.

Browns are weird because they had a really good defense, and one of the best defensive players of the last generation. They have at times also had hall of fame o lineman. I think they should be heavily criticized for giving a cap prohibiting contract to a pariah of the NFL with an injury history...I think if any team gives a record/cap breaking contract to a poor qb it means the team is screwed for a while. The best they can do is draft a very cheap one and plug him in and hope for the best. That is what they are doing.

Broncos did that with Russell Wilson. It’s kind of impressive that they recovered from that so quickly, given they had to take on a record setting dead money hit to their salary cap.

They were fortunate in many ways. A good, experienced head coach that was decisive in the need to rip the bandaid. Uber wealthy ownership group willing to go along. Got a pretty good QB in the draft working on a rookie contract. Enough other pieces in place that the young QB doesn’t have to do everything.

Browns seem to have none of that going for them

Will Arch Manning be the next QB that goes to the career graveyard known as Cleveland?

I'm sure if Cleveland has the #1 pick, and if Arch decides to come out, and that isn't a given, he'd tell the Browns thanks, but no thanks. I would be stunned if he cleveland draft him and actually played there

If Cleveland has the top pick, Archie doesn’t want to go to Cleveland, and he’s afraid they will draft him, then he should pull a Dante Moore and come back for another season. Don’t play this “I’m too special for Cleveland” game. For one, let’s be real, Archie is that not kind of special. He’s not Peyton, or Eli, or Elway.

Black supremacists have now convinced themselves that 2 coaching staffs in a row have some sorta conspiracy against Shedeur lmao

I don't know about the browns ownership group but I do know the Bengals and the owners determine the success of any franchise. The Bengals ownership has been the worst for decades from a "winning" perspective and even when they get lucky by having the first pick and getting a Burrow, they ruin it by cutting costs on the oline and letting him get killed. They also hit the jackpot with Carson Palmer, also to see him get killed by their greed, and he forced a trade. Burrow will surely do the same thing. Owners never get criticized but they are in control of everything from hotdogs to facilities to gm to coaches to players.

Changing to mlb, I find it so convenient that there has been a media campaign to demonize the Dodgers because their ownership is smart and spends through the roof to win where the others really don't care about the product or the fans and instead just want to make profit, ignoring that winning and becoming a national brand is what increases valuation the most.

Not that I don’t agree because there are better owners than others . There is a hard salary cap in the NFL . There is not in MLB . This is an Apples to Oranges comparison.

The only chance Shadeur had was to be coachable and he is absolutely not
