Our defense just flat out sucks today aside from Fitzgerald. Can’t cover in the secondary, can’t pressure the QB and can’t plug holes in the running game. We have virtually no chance unless there’s some major halftime adjustment.

Costly turnover but can’t blame Stone on that pass as the ball was tipped. Didn’t realize he had a nice string of passes without ints. Sucks that we gave up the lead. We should be going in the locker room with the lead but we are keeping it close enough to come back in the 2nd half.

Well this should test their resolve coming out of the locker room back into the elements. Are they deflated after some really bad defense after the turnover or are they going to fight. At least we know they fought back from a big deficit last week but we are really thin tonight. Something big needs to change especially on D.

I think there are a few adjustment that they can make and come out better. Some guys may change their cleats.

I am EXTREMELY willing to be critical of our players and was wrt 20 last week, but that play wasn’t 100% not on Covey and there was little he could do. And I don’t even think he’s good!

I think people are mad because this was a textbook example of being set up to win the “middle eight” that was totally squandered. At least that’s why I’m frustrated.

Braun wasn't aggressive in that situation but was on earlier drives. Electing to not risk another turnover inside NU's 30 during a snowmageddon game and take a 4 point deficit into the locker room was channeling Fitz's "Discretion is the Better Part of Valor" playbook. Which has worked.
